Tweakable Death Audio

With the use of a switch plus an infinite life check point to create an instant warp, most use deadly gas to initiate the teleport. I recently used it to move the player from the level name intro to the start of the actual level. However the sound of death by deadly gas is very distinct and audible and myself and others have noticed it's effect to detract from the ambiance when used in particular situations such as the one I mentioned. It would be a nice feature to be able to tweak, either volume/mute or change the noise all together of the death by hazards. Even if you can't tweak the sound of gassy death, you can change the sound FX volume all together. Then you can use a global audio tweaker to change it back to normal when your intro or cutscene is done. | 2011-01-14 15:41:00 Author: Kitkasumass Posts: 494 |

The Servers are down - so technically the beta is over. However, the beta files didn't have an expiry date, so they're still playable, and usable - just with no online. I think I read somewhere that you will need to delete all your Beta data before you play the commercial release of LBP2 for some reason. Just a heads up, maybe you knew that or want to double check.
