Photoshop, How I Love You [Live Stream Tonight, Requests Open]

Ended up doing a live request to keep it interesting for Rotten and Inan,

Got sketch render and a couple other current signature requests ready to be done. Work tomorrow though.. :/

Anyway, LS is pretty simple, but sorry for random Yeah Yeah Yeahs music, no idea how long it was on, but turned it off eventually. If I can figure out how to get it to be less CPU demanding I might just do that all the time when I start signatures.		2011-03-14 01:09:00

Off to work, posting these two for Sketch, but just realized I forgot to do color edits, so they are not yet finished.. if you have any suggestions now would be the time to speak up, since I have to go back and work on it later anyway.

wow thats cool, the only think i would change is the bullet hole is in a different place on my sackboy but you wouldnt be able to see it in that pic so i think it would work better without it, and the strap holding the pencil is covering the heart sticker, could you turn it the other way(and the pencil so it still looks like its holding it)2011-03-14 23:14:00

Like clock gears moving around etc. There's a font called verne on fontcraft, but it costs money, so forget it. But if you could find one that is similar, that would be great.

good work, try and blend the render in a bit more and use some c4d's for depth. if you add a black to transparent gradient from the edges you will get a bit more flow.		2011-04-19 15:27:00

Here are 2 quick test runs at the steampunk-y-ness and one attempt. Couldn't find a really decent gear-y font for some reason.. gonna have to try again after I wake up more.

Uh... yeah... I like the way you put it. Like that only better, lol.
That's what I was thinking as far as the path (following the swirl), but if we could get the shape to look more like it's getting sucked down into it, that would be sweet. For what it's worth, I know your requests are mounting, and when I worked on my current sig, that was my biggest challenge - trying to warp the text into the vortex without warping it beyond recognition. I mean, in the end I still want it to be easily readable, y'know?

EDIT: I wonder... would it work better if the image were flipped so the swirl (and thus the word v0rtex) were coming in from the left? Then the tail of the X could be getting sucked in. I think it might be easier to pull that off than trying to warp the V. What do you think?

I've changed my mind-Drastically.

I really hope it's not a big deal, but you seem to have gotten such a large line of requests I don't think you've gotten to it yet.

The backround can be whatever design you want, I'd like some fun colors and I'll leave any other creative ideas up to you after all, you're making this for FREE!!

Thanks though, I guess being away from Photoshop gets you back into what you are more used to, I guess. Then slowly expand back out into different stuff.

I only have the PS3 so i can't do this type of work myself.

Ok, for my signature:
I would like a cartoon R2-D2 on the left, my name RtooDee2 in the middle and a sackboy dressed as a Rebel on the right.
RtooDee2 done in a blue and silver(or grey) font would be cool.
Give it a space type of theme.

As for my avatar: Just an R2-D2 standing there with a blank background is all i need.

If you could make these for me, I will be most greatfull.

Ooo these are awesome! I want one!
I'm super obsessed with witches and have several pics in my "witch costumes" album as well as Deity Dortr that was made by a friend of mine.
I follow this comic booky art style of a dead forest and all my costumes and the backgrounds are black and yellow.. also I want to promote my Virtues vs Vices game and I think the logo is cool.. or perhaps cheesy..

Work has been busy lately, especially with this super early then overnight shifts. In the mean time, looking for feedback on this new signature style I've tried out. It's about that time again.

Can I please request an avatar? A whale to be specific, I'd like it to be a cartoon more than an actual whale. Similar style to my avatar right now but totally different. And a light blue/gray is a good color for the whale. Not too many specifics on the details as I would like to see what you can do with it so you can go crazy with it.
