Which one would you like me to try and work on?

It's a decision between those two. Legend of Trigger-Happy Zelda: The Masterkey: I'm basing it around the Legend of Zelda series, since i've always liked it. I might need help with landscapes, but key elements would be okay. Storyline is around a boy called Trig, who wants to stand out from Link and decides to outgun him in his own legend. Hyrule has changed from a green, slight-villanous touch to a more modern-future setting. Guns and even swords are modified for change. You will start by an introduction of Hyrule before. Then, it'll change to show you how events have unfolded. Hyrule is not a lawful place, it is a dirtier place now, with alley fights everywhere. Dead-Sack Rising: I am going to see if I can make it play out via level-links. It'll follow the same story as the actual game, so not many changes. Only problem is with weapons. The camera angle will need to be changed too. The camera should be easy with a few tweaks. Gonna have to put in a lot of logic, so i'll need help here too. Help in-game (when the game is released) is going to be needed. I will probably be on/off most of the time, so you have to be a little patient. If I make a complete faiola of this, anyone can take these concepts on from the point I give up. It will take a long time to get these ideas at least in-game. | 2011-01-13 19:10:00 Author: davestanley Posts: 87 |

He wants to stand out from Link... So is there a link already in his world and he's just trying to best him? Also, you haven't really put much of a story here. I mean it sounds interesting, but it needs more of a setting and story. Maybe have SOMETHING that makes it different than the actual game, besides it being on LBP2. | 2011-01-14 04:41:00 Author: Devious_Oatmeal Posts: 1799 |
One question: Are any of these going to be in a top-down perspective? | 2011-01-14 05:17:00 Author: maddoggnick96 Posts: 272 |
Hmm... Well, the Zelda concept is interesting, but unless you did a marvelous job story-telling, I think you'd lose the player's interest, or rather they would lose grasp of what was going on. I would go with the Dead-Rising, but if I were you, I would make it my own game more so than a remake of Dead-Rising. | 2011-01-14 05:39:00 Author: RottenAvocado Posts: 319 |
you forgot a choice in the poll... "Does anybody really care" Welcome to the forums, friend. Good to have you here... -_- Seriously, what the hell? Not a good first impression. Anyway, back on topic. I'll have to say Dead-Sack Rising purely because it sounds like that would be more mindless fun whilst your Zelda one sounds pretty dialogue heavy which usually I'm not a fan of with adaptation levels like these. Best of luck with whatever you choose. | 2011-01-14 14:55:00 Author: UmJammerSully Posts: 1097 |
