Only if u got da skill and maybe wont sound exact When i do try to remake song i will probably never try to copy the song exactly. Im always gunna add my little twist to them | 2011-01-13 04:23:00 Author: Unknown User |
All depends on instruments. FFXIII action music might be too complex for LBP2 | 2011-01-13 04:35:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |
most songs you can't make to the letter (due to instrements) but you can make them very close to them. | 2011-01-13 04:44:00 Author: a_mailbox Posts: 416 |
Well i dont care about having exactly the right instrumen, just the notes in general | 2011-01-13 04:53:00 Author: Unknown User |
Well i dont care about having exactly the right instrumen, just the notes in general if its 4/4 music. sure, its possible. MIDI files help (or so i've heard) | 2011-01-13 04:54:00 Author: a_mailbox Posts: 416 |
if its 4/4 music. sure, its possible. MIDI files help (or so i've heard) Well I was the one who told you that ^^ Anyways yeah, if you can find a good accurate MIDI of the song, basically then even though it may be time consuming, you can make it. Trust me, MIDIs help ALOT so your remake music won't sound horrid. | 2011-01-13 05:24:00 Author: Fang Posts: 578 |

What exactly are MIDIs? Erhrm... *takes out spectacles* MIDI = Musical Instrument Digital Interface Basically it's a music file that when played through a music system like Synthesia (google it), the notes of the song are shown. If you have this, you simply need to copy the notes from the system. Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQ0ppHYpatM This is just basic piano but there are many other instruments playable | 2011-01-13 06:06:00 Author: Fang Posts: 578 |

It's anyone's guess as to how the instrument library has improved in retail... I think it can handle the FF13 stuff, rhythm wise, but you're not gonna get that same powerful string and brass section stuff going on, or at least what's available to us so far. | 2011-01-13 06:52:00 Author: Foofles Posts: 2278 |
The UYA one is totally doable if it's in 4/4 time. If there is a MIDI, it would be even easier! | 2011-01-13 07:43:00 Author: The-Unknown-Thief Posts: 49 |
If a sound isn't on LBP 2, can you record it with a microphone and put it in a sequencer? | 2011-01-13 11:15:00 Author: ZeroZ30o Posts: 157 |
What exactly are MIDIs? It's a file format designed to record keyboard synthesizer music by recording song by notes, in more technical way is dump of information that comes thou MiDI port (aka Game Port) when you connect synthesizer keyboard to it. Since it got notes of the song it can reproduce it in many ways | 2011-01-13 13:45:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |
If someone accurately recreated Blinded By Light, I think i'd die a happy man xD | 2011-01-13 16:51:00 Author: Fish94 Posts: 554 |
You can remake all of this but not make is sound like this. The music maker misses orchestral sounding samples. | 2011-01-13 16:59:00 Author: RangerZero Posts: 3901 |

Here's a good start: http://www.vgmusic.com/ EDIT: Oh, crud. Double post Aww do I have to download something for it. I am super paranoid of getting viruses on my PC. :/ | 2011-01-14 03:44:00 Author: Unknown User |
I am pretty sure MIDI files don't contain any viruses. Or do you mean a program to edit and see the MIDI files in? | 2011-01-14 04:27:00 Author: GalaxyHero6799 Posts: 46 |
I am pretty sure MIDI files don't contain any viruses. Or do you mean a program to edit and see the MIDI files in? Well i need to see the midi so i can know what notes i need to put in the music sequencer. Plus i might wanna learn hhow to play them on piano. | 2011-01-14 04:48:00 Author: Unknown User |
Do you know how to read music? | 2011-01-14 05:08:00 Author: GalaxyHero6799 Posts: 46 |
Well i need to see the midi so i can know what notes i need to put in the music sequencer. Plus i might wanna learn hhow to play them on piano. Okay don't take this as advertizing or anything but if you are needing something to learn how to play the piano or something... Ehh, dunno if it's completely free (the actual program is free but other extentions may cost $$$) but here's the program I used for music help in the LBP2 beta. Totally virus free: www.synthesiagame.com Yah I said it before but I just find it a very reliable system. | 2011-01-14 05:20:00 Author: Fang Posts: 578 |
I know with alot of older FF's, most any 16 bit game, and a few 32 bit titles that used midi music (Tactics, MGS1)... basically anything that has a digital base should be doable, if not exact, and anything with full, live orchestration and CD or better audio can just be done lofi & simpler... it's like if you compared the 3 disc CD version of FF6's soundtrack, to the really lofi and small kb raw midi files you can find online. Interestingly enough, I sometimes like the midi files better because they sound exactly like they did coming out of the SNES. I sure couldn't do it, though. | 2011-01-14 05:28:00 Author: Unknown User |
I can kinda read notes but not that well, I can play piano by just memorizing were the notes are and i can play pretty well just by doing that. | 2011-01-14 05:28:00 Author: Unknown User |

Edit: Wait no how do you put the file from vgmusic.com on to synthesia? Edit#2: Ohhhhhhh i got it now! Thanks for the help! | 2011-01-14 05:38:00 Author: Unknown User |

Obviously is possible to do. But i don't know if is possible make exactly the same. | 2011-01-14 21:45:00 Author: Cauan-XV Posts: 491 |
I can kinda read notes but not that well, I can play piano by just memorizing were the notes are and i can play pretty well just by doing that. Thats the same way I play the piano! I make my own original songs on a keyboard and memorize the songs. Plus I try to play some songs that are simple enough to play by ear. I can't really read music either. And I use Cakewalk Music Creator 3 to record my songs in MIDI or directly from the piano. (Cakewalk Music Creator 5 costs $35. You can't buy the older versions anymore.) Hopefully when I get Little Big Planet 2 I can make some awesome songs on it! | 2011-01-14 23:21:00 Author: GalaxyHero6799 Posts: 46 |
