Delicious Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients - 1 cup of softened butter - 1 cup white sugar - 1 cup packed brown sugar - 2 eggs - 2 tspns vanilla extract - 3 cups flour - 1 tspn baking soda - 2 tspns hot water - 1/2 tspn salt - 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (or milk chocolate, that's the better way imo) Directions 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 C for all you Metric users out there ![]() 2. Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until it's smooth. Beat in the eggs, then stir in the vanilla. Dissolve baking soda into the hot water. Add to mixture along with the salt. Stir in flour, and chocolate chips. Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans. 3. Bake for about 11-13 minutes, or until edges are nicely browned. I love cookies almost as much as I love vanilla! Seriously, one of my all time favorite things. Extract is good, but my personal preference is powdered vanilla bean. I buy the beans online and put them in a coffee grinder.
