List of suggestions

So I just sat down and made a small list of things I'd like to see added to LBP2. Some of them have been mentioned many times before. Let me know what you think though.

- Layer tool
Edit the background layers

- Paintbrush (Sticker creator/editor)

- Sackbots swim-capable
Tweak that lets sackbots swim

- Persistent data
Save data between levels (cookies)

- A-B sensor
Place it at the starting point and ending point of a certain part of the MS and it will loop what's in-between them

- Death/Spawn sensor
Senses when you die or spawn (whichever it's set to)

- Sensors player specific
Ability to sense specific players (i.e. it only senses player 2)

- Custom Lives Checkpoint
You can set how many lives it has

- Add/Lose life trigger for Checkpoints
When this is triggered, it will add/subtract (whichever it's set to) a life to the activated checkpoint

- Projectile sensor senses set object
Be able to select the object it senses and not just the set elements

- Invincibility power-up
Makes Sackboy invincible. You can set the duration and what Sackboy is vulnerable to. You can also change the color. Usable underwater if selected.

- Keyboard input pad
Basically a keyboard input for passwords. You can set a correct password, or multiple. There will be a seperate output for each password and one for the incorrect paswords

- Material transformer switch
Sets the material to a different material

Some of the first (1-3/4)would be pretty hard to implement (I'd imagine). I'm pretty sure you can do the projectile thing you want, possible with another switch though.

Some of these would be incredibly useful though. I'm surprised they haven't put in an invincibility powerup yet though.

I don't know what you mean by A-B sensor. Incidentally, a teleporter would be great. One that doesn't involve you dying...

I suggest that for all player sensitive and effecting gadgets


Alredy possible with sackbots.

What we need to use sackbots? besides there already sackboy work around with controlinators, but native support would be nice

Impact + Counter switch can do that, i think projectile sensor is separate with build in counter to be more like paintanator that people use to it
