Plane-sensitive Proximity switch?

Archive: 6 posts

This is just a small suggestion, not sure if something like this has been suggested yet, BUT...
I was thinking what if proximity switches could have a setting that decides what plane, (1 out of the 3) you have to be in to activate it. For example, If you wanted something in the first plane to be activated ( an enemy, for example) and there was a secret area behind one of the layers (maybe the second), you would be able to get to the area without triggering the enemy. Just a little suggestion, what do you guys think?

To build off of Fish's post, this is an optional feature that is available is almost all new sensors and, correct me if I'm wrong, all previous sensors. Also, from what I've seen, all sensors have a new tweak changing the color scheme of the sensor, allowing greater flexibility and uniformity. The color tweak appears to have the same colors available to lights and specific materials. What I, for one, would love, is a tweak allowing the sensor radius to be visible in play mode. Then again, this can be simulated with holograms.2011-01-12 00:15:00

Huh? You can only make follower to stay in one layer and as i know only sensors got "Same Layer" tweak. Ofcorse this can be easily work around by disabling follower with a sensor on "Same Layer"
