Dude - Few things ;

Few major flaws - Skate ramp doesn't work.

Need a notification on the whole snail shell door thing.

Wooden bridges don't wobble.

One wooden bridge is broken.

Fabric is far too heavy

Well, it does need a lot of work.
Besides some of the flaws Miff said; The Lever for the Door can only needs one small Shell for example.
Most Score Bubbles are hard to reach.

Well, the vid is pretty old, and it's from a very old build of the game, when everything could be grabbed. It's different in the build we have. This is pretty much why we can't actually remake the level.

i dont see the point of remaking a level the devs already did.
at least remake a level from a different game.

Yeah but the level he remade was never in the game, it was only a video from an older build of the game. So technically, he's the first one to actually give a version of this level to the public to play.

On the level, it looks very much the same, but it functions very differently. It doesn't really matter that much since the builds are very different, so nice job!

I'm glad somebody attempted this. Not sure why the developers left this out. For a year or so all LBP plans were watching the same video over and over and when the game finally comes out... they dont get to play in the level they are the most familiar with?2008-11-09 12:32:00

- it worked for me. I'll keep improving it though.
-K
-K i'll fix it.
-Its supposed to be like that. Or atleast that side looks broken in the old video.
-K. I'll try to fix some of these things in the next couple days.

Score bubbles are hard to reach since I copied their locations from the old video.

But as I said I'll keep working on the level.

Almost all of the gameplay elements made it into the final game in slightly different ways. just look for them and you'll find them!2008-11-09 20:05:00

I have some helpful tips on how you can really make this more like the original.

First of all, it is possible to make the point bubbles looks like sponges. You either need to make a cow-glitched sponge-looking dissolve circle (with a sensor switch to make the sponge disappear) non-solid by glitching it and merging it with a point bubble, or, if you can't merge non-solid materials with objects, just merge them normally. When you merge objects and materials together, the material always takes up all of the space that the object does, so there's a chance that, if the sponge is solid, this won't work, because the sponge would prevent Sackboy from touching the point bubble and collecting it. But it's definately worth a try. You can learn to merge using the tutorial in my signature. But for this, you need to replace the 1st of the 3 materials with the point bubble. You should be able to merge the cow'd sponge/dissolve for this, but I haven't ever tested it.

As for the grabbable objects, IE: the spinning gear, you can make a bunch of lines of grabbable material and shrink them down to the point where they're no longer visible. Then copy and glue them to the gear's edges one by one. D'oh, but there's a problem. You can't grab things that are too small. Anyone have any ideas for this?

And for the background at the end, just use the multiple layer glitch. I know these techniques are advanced, and if you need help, I can probably make some of these things for you.

Thanks!
