If you don't have all DLC for LBP and you buy some LBP DLC while LBP 2 is out will it just go right into LBP 2 or are there some more steps involved? I'm guessing all LBP 2 DLC and all LBP DLC will be combined into one Add-On category, but I just want to be sure =)

No all you have to do is go to the in game store buy all the DLC you need.

Yeah, there are no LBP1 or LBP2 specific DLCs, all the LBP DLCs available till now, work in LBP1 and LBP2! Maybe in the future there will be specific LBP2 DLC that will not work in LBP1 for example; but it's not the case right now...

But remember, the water gave us extra levels to play as well as extra stickers, materials, objects, decorations, a background and some music (as well as the ability to get trophies). And no, apprently the Paintinator isn't in the story, although with the Creatinator, it's pretty useless to put into the story. Are the PotC and MGS Trophies going to be carried over to LBP2 by any chance, just out of curiosioty? (I've already gotten them all). My guess is no.

I presume the same goes for the Paintinator? Darn it though, I just bought Water.... Nope it still DLC exclusive, this is why projectile sensor and paintinator sensor are separate even if there function is practically the same And don't be sad about water, you still got cool decorations and materials from it, specially to water that LBP2 alone won't have

Yeah, we need a refund Water is included in LBP2 but the rest of the pack isn't. The bulk of the money involved was probably to do with the Disney and Pirates of the Caribbean licensing. Even if getting a refund was a possibility, you wouldn't get much money back.

how do you know that? There was a quote somewhere to that effect, but I'm too lazy to find it. I'm assuming, like LBP1, water global settings will be free, but not the associated tools (Water Switch, etc.). From an older post... In the case of the water global settings, you can actually unlock this without paying for and downloading the PotC DLC file - all you have to do is play and complete the first PotC level via someone's hearted list, and you get the water for free.
