Devious DataspaceSilver39_7 Your curiosity has imprisoned you in this Virtual Nightmare. Can you make your escape? It took 6 months but the Wicked Manuactory's sequel has arrived. There is a lot of thermo left in this level once I had implented all my ideas. So any feedback about the length of the level would be appreciated. But that's not to say that other feedback is welcome, so please leave other feedback and comments as well. http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee368/Silver398/Data3.png?t=1294612917http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee368/Silver398/Data2.png?t=1294612917http://i1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee368/Silver398/Data1.png?t=1294612917 Hope you guys enjoy! | 2011-01-09 20:13:00 Author: Silver39 Posts: 1703 |
Devious Dataspace Silver39_7/Silver39 Score:8.7/10 Rating: :star::star::star::star::star: & <3 Your curiosity has imprisoned you in this Virtual Nightmare. Can you make your escape? Story: I didn't know there was a story till the end. You could've putten more depth and make it more consistant throughout the level. 5/10 Gameplay: Gameplay was very awesome. It was original in a sense and was executed very well. The boss fight was very fun and cool. There wasn't much wrong in this department. Can't say much more. 10/10 Music/Fx: The music was a great selection. You use a lot of Fx and they were a very good selection. 10/10 Astheitics: The visuals were very well done. The corner editing was done well. Most of the stickers that you use were a good selection, but the color blocks with black stickering looked somewhat weird to me. 8.5/10 Originality: The gameplay was mostly very new and original. I had never seen any level like it before. 10/10 Misc: I got launched out of the map at the boss fight. Also the second obstacle got sometimes stuck when I played it. The former wasn't as bad as the later though. But everything else worked fine. 8/10 This level would have obviously gotten an higher score if it had a story emphizied somewhat throughout the level. But in sense of the actual gameplay and everything else, this is a must play level. On a side note, if you had more of the story concept you would have had a better score. But everything else is very awesome. | 2011-01-09 20:22:00 Author: Random Posts: 673 |

Sounds like a cool level, you make awesome boss fights! I'll play when I get a chance. Thanks, I wish that the judges for that Boss Battle Blitz thought the same! Is there no way to take any pictures for us non-psp'ers? This sounds cool. I got nothing else to do... It'll be up in a jiff. EDIT: Sorry for the random republish, spotted a rare glitch, but I didn't want to take any chances. Also, pics are up. | 2011-01-09 22:45:00 Author: Silver39 Posts: 1703 |

Hey Buddy! Legendary gameplay here. This is classic platforming at it's best. You are no doubt, in my opinion, one of the best at gameplay now. Every level you make is better and better, and all of your levels are a blast to play. I love the look of this level. The colors really worked great with your level design. The puzzles were very cool. And the platforming was intense and a helluva good time. Then the boss! You make a killer boss dude. The difficulty is just right on your bosses. It's fun trying to figure out the patterns, then break him down piece by piece. This is my favorite boss you have done. And this level is one of the finest I have ever played on the psp. One problem but very minor, when the door goes up and locks you in before the boss, once it through me up out of the level. It was cool though, I got to see some of your logic on the way down. Great job man! Hearted. <3 -VJ | 2011-01-12 19:53:00 Author: VelcroJonze Posts: 1305 |
Great level bro! Sorry to say this, but I didn't know you until the 12 DOC. When you released Clocktower climb, I was amazed. Then ghoul duel, i was amazed. Then you publish this, I'm stunned. It was an AMAZING level, you are quite the gameplay guru All of it is original as far as I can tell, and it was very fun. :star::star::star::star::star:<3 | 2011-01-12 23:23:00 Author: anoken Posts: 1654 |
Is that? No...It's impossible. Feedback?! I liked the colours Thanks man, I had a tough time picking which colors fit the theme best, and I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out. Legendary gameplay here. This is classic platforming at it's best. You are no doubt, in my opinion, one of the best at gameplay now. That's a keeper of a quote. You don't know how much of a confidence builder that is. I love the look of this level. The colors really worked great with your level design. Thanks, I really wanted to get this level out because I wanted the look to be something a PSPer had never seen before. One problem but very minor, when the door goes up and locks you in before the boss, once it through me up out of the level. It was cool though, I got to see some of your logic on the way down. Shows that I really need to beta test more. Hopefully that problem doesn't happen too often. Great level bro! Sorry to say this, but I didn't know you until the 12 DOC. When you released Clocktower climb, I was amazed. Then ghoul duel, i was amazed. Don't worry bout it. I really didn't deserve that much recognition back then. But now, I'm working hard, and hopefuly people can see that. It was an AMAZING level, you are quite the gameplay guru All of it is original as far as I can tell, and it was very fun. I try to make it my mission to be original with my levels and it's nice to hear I've accomplished it. Thanks for breaking the feedback drought guys, I appreciate it. | 2011-01-12 23:33:00 Author: Silver39 Posts: 1703 |
Hi, Silver39! Sorry for late response, but I have too many work after NY. I tried you level and found it fantastic! There is very cool gameplay and nice decoration! You progress in level's quality with great speed! When I played your level I several time though - wow, this is very cool level for psp side, it looks and play almost as ps3 version levels! It is true, even after trying lbp2 beta your level impressed me! Very good creation! 5 stars and heart! And BTW, I record video with you level for CheezeBo LBV#10, so you can watch it in LBV#10 or directly on my channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cu-yoanFWw8 | 2011-01-17 10:01:00 Author: Domik12 Posts: 838 |
Hi, Silver39! Sorry for late response, but I have too many work after NY. Don't worry, better late than never. I tried you level and found it fantastic! There is very cool gameplay and nice decoration! You progress in level's quality with great speed! Thanks for the kind words, hopefully I keep progressing and don't take any steps back in my future levels. When I played your level I several time though - wow, this is very cool level for psp side, it looks and play almost as ps3 version levels! It is true, even after trying lbp2 beta your level impressed me! Very good creation! Wow, that is awesome to hear. THen again the aesthetics of ths level was based off of the VR materials on the PS3 version so... Story: I didn't know there was a story till the end. You could've putten more depth and make it more consistant throughout the level. 5/10 Yeah, I definitely could've been better at executing that. I think people only let that slide for TWM because there wasn't a prequel to set it up. Music/Fx:The music was a great selection. You use a lot of Fx and they were a very good selection. 10/10 I always go overboard when it comes to Sound FX, glad to hear it's paying off. Misc:I got launched out of the map at the boss fight. Also the second obstacle got sometimes stuck when I played it. The former wasn't as bad as the later though. But everything else worked fine. 8/10 Beta Testers, and why I need to remember to use them next time. Anyways, thanks for the feedback guys, hopefully I can build on these. | 2011-01-17 17:31:00 Author: Silver39 Posts: 1703 |
Woops! Almost forgot to give you feedback! The Bads Yeah, there was a GIANT surprise at the end with the story. It felt like you decided right at the end to put a story in. The Goods The scenery! Perfecto! Interesting platforming! Enhanced with logic. Epic Win! The Boss Fight was Silver39_7 Classic! The What This was a sequel? Over all, :star::star::star::star::star: and one BIG, FAT, <3 | 2011-01-17 18:34:00 Author: The-Questor Posts: 1328 |
Sorta Short, Boss battle is a little to easy, but incredible puzzles. 9.5/10 | 2011-01-22 06:29:00 Author: Unknown User |
Nice job Silver and congrats on another Spotlight. This level is just fantastic! | 2011-01-24 20:48:00 Author: Taffey Posts: 3187 |
Great job Silver! I actually thought that the story was brilliant and even though it didn't seem like there was one at first, the way you ended it made it so you didn't need one and sort of left it hanging for a sequel even! Great job and congrats on the spotlight! :star::star::star::star::star: and a <3 | 2011-01-24 22:55:00 Author: WoodburyRaider Posts: 1651 |
This level was amazing! The clever use of different materials and black stickers were very visually striking. I just love how this level looks. Running around this in the wireframe costume is fun. Entertaining and unique gameplay too! Just fun all around! And then the boss was super neat too! I loved his stomp attack! Thanks for making such an awesome level Silver! | 2011-02-02 06:34:00 Author: SeekingTruth86 Posts: 151 |
