I'm sure this has been talked about before but I did a search and couldn't come up with anything. Anyway, I'm sure I'm not the only one but I cant stand creating my levels in pause mode, simply because of that annoying sound it makes. I only use pause when I really need to. I'm wondering for people with the beta... or anyone, will this sound remain in LBP2?

Not in the beta but I think the sound remains. I don't see what te problem is though, it'd be weird if it was silent

The sound is in the beta, but I really hope they get rid of it. Everytime I hear that darn noise it makes me want to stop creating. Or at the very least some better audio options to turn off the music/drone and keep the sound effects.

You guys could simply mute yer tvs...or play some music from the HDD.

You just can tweak global settings in level, "Background Volume" it sets volume of sound effects of made by chosen background and strangely it also effects pause noise. Did you guys notice that there no pause noise in my videos? ^^

Those create mode sound effects are helpful for breaking items/etc. I wonder if I just put a blank MP3 on the PS3, can you set it to replay indefinitely?

As i said, Backbround sound, all sound that is generated by the backgeound (like Vicorias lab etc.) and pause sound for soem reason so no it not like muting TV, you still hear other sounds and music. Go check it by your self, remember that im talking hear about global settings tweak, not option in game settings

The audio tweaker for background takes out the churning gears, birds, wind, and everything else that you hear with the backgrounds, it doesn't affect the stuff you put in the level, you don't need to play music to not hear it

Call me weird or something, but I love the pause noise. I'm ALWAYS in pause in my levels ^^ (not because of the noise xD).

Shadowriver, you are a saint. The first time i hopped into the beta and heard the noise, I kinda cried a little cause i had hoped it would be gone. But it wasn't. But THANK YOU so much for that info!! That needs to be spread around here more.
