Dont worry... those were only probably one-off media molecules employee accounts...better heart 'em extra quick!

You should be hating the post office! Now how do you think Amazon.com gets all those LBP2 copies delivered day of release... hmmm? send them out early? Now only if I were married to a letter carrier... Oh Wait! I am!

Just knew getting married would one day work in my favour.

Im right there copies out already

Currently its reviwers and MM or Sony Staff.

I reckon we'll be seeing early copies with ordinary people this weekend, Friday at the earliest based on previous instances of street date breaking.

Is that genuine?

I can't recall if the cover art is correct (though I'm pretty sure it's not), but it's depicting a sackbot with DCS on the front, like the early early screens. Seems odd they would sign off on art that has such out of date pictures on it.

Also, it's only a single case, with a shelf edge label saying "Gran Turismo 5" (I think) next to it.

Call me cynical, but I don't think it's too much of a stretch to believe that a bored store worker mocked that up in 2 minute for the lolz. It could be real, but ... yeah. IDK.

Oh man. I wish I still worked at Sears in the electronics department.

I bet this already came in a box from the truck and is sitting in the stock room gathering dust with a 'do not open till 1/19/11' post mark on it like most electronics are.

I could've at least taken a good whiff of the box and shaken it..

edit: Most likely it's real. Most games would come a week early, but we were legally obligated NOT to post them till the specific dates. It's the same for movies too. Even if it was on the shelf, it wouldn't be in the system to scan and purchase. He could get fired for that.

btw guys you might not wanna buy one evn if you see one...you can really make a store mad by doing that, it costs a store $10,000 everytime they sell 1 copy of a game before release date2011-01-10 18:53:00

I say let them get as mad as they want; if they put it out there, it's fair game

I don't doubt the packaging real... but that sure smacks of someone causing a mock sensation. It certainly isn't alpabetically arranged properly. Tells me it may be in the stores but highly doubtable it's physically on the shelf!2011-01-10 19:39:00

When LBP1 came out the local place had the date wrong on the computer so I was able to get it early that way
Hopefully they mess up again for LBP2

Also, I hope the U.S cover looks as good as the EU cover. For some reason the U.S always gets boring covers :/

Because Europe spends so much time making fancy art for games we get things years later!

So we've finally found some of Mm's PSN accounts?

Not that I'd do anything bad, of course.

Tomorrow, before my parents get home, I'm going to call my local Gamestop and check if they have gotten their copies of LBP2 yet.. Screw that! Of course they have them, I'm just going to see if they have them for sale! Let the tension begin! Again! Hype overload! One week! For me, at least...2011-01-11 00:43:00
