My thread was going to have to move eventually so, here it is! I'm going to post some story ideas and some vague gameplay concepts for the next few levels (oh jeepers) of the Tricorn Bear series. What I want help with eventually is gameplay ideas and possibly testers, though I do have quite the list right now. What would be especially great would be some ideas for puzzles in a point and click adventure game. But that will come later. Right now, the level I'm focused on is the Frozen Hypnotist. Tricorn Bear and the Frozen Hypnotist! Premise: Penguins ask you for help because the evil Dr. Chameleon is kidnapping penguins! He?s freezing them in blocks of ice to transport them to his lab. They?ve been hypnotized into stealing fish from all the other creatures for his fish oil powered missile that he?s going to use to create a hole in the Ozone layer so he can warm up from the sun. You shut down his freeze ray, but the penguins are still hypnotized. You have to destroy his hypnotizing machine and stop the rocket from taking off. Boss Fight: You succeed in shutting down the freeze ray and hypnosis machine. Dr. Chameleon gets angry and attacks you with his heat lamp robot that turns the floor to lava. Icicles fall down that you can climb on top of the robot to pop its brains, but he?ll melt them after a few seconds. To get the icicles to fall, you have to hit the robot with a swinging icicle to disorient him. He runs into a wall, knocking the icicles down for you to climb. Gameplay ideas: Riding on frozen penguins and swinging on hooks for the frozen penguins. Swinging on/ avoiding polar bear paws Jumping fish to cross freezing water Shooting down swinging icicles to open doors Icicle platforms that thaw with a heat ray/heat lamp Self Destruct code for hypnosis machine Disarm the rocket in a certain amount of time, or else you ?die? and start over. Tricorn Bear and the Underdog Detective! Point and click adventure game. Cat runs shady casino for birds, Detective suspects ?fowl play.? Birds come in, but never check out. Turns out that cat has been kidnapping some for eating and/or underground egg laying operations. He sells the eggs to snakes. Tricorn Bear and the Ornery Octopus! Someone has kidnapped the octopus?s babies and it's up to you to get them back! A sushi chef wants to use the babies for his octopus rolls and has locked the octopi up in cages and stuff. It's a puzzle to get each one of them out. Tricorn Bear and the Ghost of Gorbachev! Tricorn goes to visit his cousin Dicorn Gorbachev in Russia to aid him with a small case. But, by the time you arrive, someone has killed Gorbachev! Tricorn Bear, with the help of some magic-y person, has managed to bring back Gorbachev?s soul and place it in the body of a goat. Now it's up to you to solve Dicorn?s murder, because, as usual, Tricorn can?t be bothered with this ****. Some evidence is found that makes it seem like Tricorn was the murderer. This makes Gorbachev really mad and he becomes a scary ghost-goat thing and you have to save Tricorn from his enraged grasp. You defeat Dicorn and it turns out that the murderer was the very goat that Dicorn now possesses.

you know i'm in! so, I know you want to focus on Frozen hypnotist right now, but I really love Ghost of Gorbachev. It's so... dark, I guess. I don't know, it seems almost a bit spooky, but i know it'll end up hilarious, like the others. That'll probably be one of m favorites, but I'm not counting the others out either.

Hey again man: I'm in for any kind of testing: I've been majorly looking forward to more from this series! Has the second in the series come out yet? That first one was undoubtedly one of the most original and refreshing levels I've played in a long time. Anyway: I'm sure anything you produce will be great!

Hey chimpy! Good to see you again. Yeah, the 1st part of the second level was already published. The second part will be in LBP2, with a boss, hopefully. Thanks for the compliment, btw! I had a lot of fun making it. I'm still working on tweaking the 1st part of the 2nd level, so its not quite final version, fyi.

Sounds simply splendid. I can picture some sweet gameplay with those frozen penguins! In the real game I can maybe help you with obstacles and what now since we already friends on ps3.

It is going, but really slowly. This quarter has me really busy and LBP eats up my time rather quickly and in copious amounts. I'm working on the boss and ideas for puzzles right now. Not a lot of actual building. I'm also simultaneously working on The Frozen Hypnotist. I like to do a lot of conceptual work before building. So, sorry, but nothing for a while.
