Just a 'Create' Trophy' Question and about H4H

Archive: 16 posts

With the 'Create' Trophy:

"The levels you have published were hearted by 50 or more people and you were hearted by 30 or more people."

Does that mean one individual level you've made has received 50 hearts, or all your levels put together have received 50 hearts?

Also, is <3 for <3 frowned upon on this site?

I'm only missing the 'Feel the Love', 'Celebrity' and 'Create' trophies so that I can get the Platinum one (I even have all of the MGS and PotC ones) and I don't think I'll be able to get them after LBP2 comes out

It's your hearts across all you levels.
and yes, H4H is frowned upon.

If you really want to get the Create trophy before LBP2 comes out, you should just create an epic small level (Survival even?)
and post a thread about it on LBPC and (Hopefully) If people like it, they'll heart.

Thanks. Tbh, I'm not too worried about my levels being hearted, mainly me as an author, BUT the other day, I did post 2 levels on this site. The threads still have 0 comments, they only got hearts from me (and probs soon from my friend) and one has 1 play whilst the other has 3...

I'm kinda desperate for the trophies...

EDIT: How many levels can you publish online at one time? I was thinking, would it work if I hearted all of them, and my friend hearted all of them?

Yeah, it's an unfortunate addiction isn't it? Just look at my sig. Oh and even if hunting trophies is an addiction, you shouldn't drop as low as to cheat for them (H4H). Trophies mean nothing if you haven't done anything to deserve them, whether in life or PSN.

You can have 20 levels and you hearting them doesn't count. Your friends' will though.

A good site to recieve H4H is ps3trophies.com. They have a huge thread for it.

Just a tip.

There are people who promote H4H? Big ol' Sadface.
EDIT: Oh wait, never mind. Why wouldn't some desperate people promote it?

Look, normally I wouldn't partake. But it's going to be pretty much impossible to get the create trophy before LBP2 comes out. If there was no LBP2, I probably wouldn't worry so much and just let my hearts SLOWLY build up over time.

you could make a level and put it in the level showcase and see if that works2011-01-06 11:52:00

Mm made the conscious decision to create H4H when they decided to attach it to trophies. They knew not everyone would be a skilled creator, and yet they made that trophy anyways. So no, I feel no guilt about being an H4Her.2011-01-06 12:57:00

Mm made the conscious decision

I believe it was more an unconscious oversight... It's mildly ridiculous to believe that Media Molecule wanted H4H to exist... Though I can see why it's a convenient viewpoint to adopt if wishing to justify your own participation in an unpopular activity

@the last stop: I don't know exactly how hearts are supposed to work between LBP1 and LBP2, but surely they would be shared, on a user basis, so hearts you receive in both games apply to both games? IDK, that seems logical to me. If that is the case, then you could gradually obtain creator hearts in LBP2, then just log into LBP1 to obtain the trophy if, as you suggest, you'd rather not go the H4H route.

I never said they wanted H4H. I believe that they knew attaching it to trophies would likely create such a system, and decided to take the chance. Plus, they have chosen not to fix it by not updating the trophy list to remove Create.2011-01-06 16:32:00

H4H would probably still exist without Create trophy, it's all the kiddies who want more hearts than their friends.
And admitting you H4H, that'll probably lose you a lot of respect

If it wouldn't get me another infraction, I would definitely post andnotasingle****wasgiventhatday.jpg. If enjoying trophy collecting loses me respect from some people, then I don't WANT that person's respect in the first place. In fact, I'd much rather have their disdain. That would provide a good laugh.

It's not the trophy collecting, even I enjoy that. It's the exploitation of the ratings system I disagree with.2011-01-06 21:35:00
