Hiya guys! im not sure this is the right thread for this but il ask you anyway. my ps3 wont work proply! thats bad because, well you no.... NO LBP!!!!!!!! ok, you no when you turn on the ps3 it gose on to all the account options? when i select my account it just shose the cool wavy background and the loading symbol in the top right corner. i no what your thinking, snail just wait for it to load! but trust me i have waited, for 7 hours! with the relise of lbp2 on friday i realy need my ps3 to be fixed. thanks for your time SnAiL_Po

My guess is.....its probably kicked the bucket, bit the dust, loaded its final screen ! Seriously though, I think you should call up sony and see what the problem is and if it can be resolved.

Did a game crash? Did it turn of while the HDD access indicator was flashing? The only thing I can think of is that your profile is corrupt.

If thats the case then I recommend the secret on/off combination! And you will have to start again (Unless your data is on a memory stick) To do it hold the power on button for 3 beeps and let it turn on and select restore system hopen this helped!

If you do this, back up the data on any other accounts first, as it will wipe everything. Interesting choice of thread title as well. I would have thought "Need help with PS3" would have sufficed.

Have you got multiple accounts when it turns on, and have you tried it with all the accounts? If not, try creating a decoy one and see if it's your account that's corrupted, or if it's the PS3. And, Backing up your data is a MUST. Better to be safe than to be sorry, i believe the term is...

Because I was thinking...if you back up the data on the ps3 and your account fails on you how would you get your data back using the backup? If that makes any sense lol. I haven't ever used the data back up function so I dont really have a clue about it.

brill, thanks guys and yes i have tryed it with all the other accounts so i think its just my account corrupted if all the other accounts do corruped then il reset the system losing all of my hard erned data....mumble...mumble... oh well il start again on another account.......... thanks for your help. sNaIl_Po

In this case, you yourself might feel lucky that LBP2 comes out later in your country! In my case, North America ftw. It's - next - week, by the way.
