Lbpc 3D desktop collab!

Okay guys, i thought i would share my idea with you all, there is this program called Bumbtop, which is a 3D desktop that you can customize to your liking, this is a video showing you what i'm talking about.

The video is crap because my fraps was fritzen

So basically, you can customize it so that each wall has a different image.
My idea is, take a Screenshot from Lbp of the ground in create mode, turn it into a desktop sized picture, then fill it with cutouts of everyone's sackpeople.

Making a panoramic view type effect.
I really want to do this, because it would be wicked.

If you are interested in contributing to this, we need a few things.

A front wall picture of Lbp ground. (Done)
A back wall ground picture. (Done)
A floor picture of the ground. (Done)
And the left and right walls. Which have to be smaller than the front, back, and floor desktops to avoid shrinkage (Done)
YOUR SACKPEOPLE TO CUT OUT.


Now, if you wanna put your sackperson in after i get the floor desktop images, you have to tell me where you would like to be in it. You may have your sackperson doing ANYTHING you wish. Including items is cool too as long as it doesn't take up to much room. Make sure that you take a decent quality picture of your sackperson/item, with the most solid background you can, so that i can cut it out.

When it gets down to it, i will have to reserve spots.
Anyone who help will receive a grand 500 Xp for their work.

That is a brilliant idea, I can't help either because I'm pretty busy atm. But I hope this turns out as awesome as it sounds.

Can I just suggest though, wait until LBP2 releases to take any pictures. It's really not long yet and the end result will mean better quality pictures. 		2011-01-04 22:04:00

Yeah, it sounds pretty sweet, but I'd definitely wait 'till LBP2 for the better quality.

Also, I take it this isn't compatible for macs... Well okay, I'm actually pretty certain it wouldn't be. I'd be willing to help, but could someone video the results? :3		2011-01-04 22:13:00

Well you could just use a selection tool to cut them all out at once.

But meh I didn't know about the original poses, so I can't really help much. (I'll try to find an image of my sackboy though.)

Okay, sorry folks, my cousin Leo just HAD to die this weekend, so i was away from my laptop for a while
But i did manage to cut out kappa's picture, which was harder than you would think it would be.

I really hope my brother buys me a new ps3... i want lbp2 so bad...

I am going to need other things, i think it would be cool to get some items int he desktop, stuff that people have made.

How to make a cop? While betaz servers were active I took a free bugblaster(for a collection-I don't think my costume can be updated with those rare dlc), if you can tell some details about costumes, I'll be able to make this		2011-01-11 17:02:00

No, i didn't make the App, i'm not sure who did.
But up until about 2 months ago, you could download it off it's owner's site, he took both the free version and the premium off his site so i had to go searching for it.
