Well, its my last level in LBP 1 and the sequel to the sequel of the hidden Forest ^^. In this part you can continue your journey through the hidden Forest and meet the queen of it. The level is quite easy. I hope you enjoy

I've queued the level up so I'll be back with my thoughts later. Screenshots certainly look promising.2011-01-08 18:15:00

This is a very pretty level. The glowing flowers and the lush foliage in the hidden forest are beautifully done - lots of colour and vibrancy. You?ve created a very distinctive look for this whole series. Is it meant to be like Avatar (sorry I should probably know this already) because it definitely had something of that feel to it? I liked the water elements too ? it was great to plunge down a waterfall and not die for once! It was also cool how you managed to introduce some movement into the level with your glowing pink beetles and the hovering butterfly. I loved the firefly effect too.

I laughed out loud when I fell down into the cooking pot. Not quite sure who the lady was or why she was cooking just there but still a great moment. The peacock was also awesome although I sort of expected him to say something (though why a peacock should talk I don't know - I've been playing LBP too long!) . He was a cute addition all the same.

Very cool transformation scene for the queen of the forest. That was a really nice moment. Are the bouncy flowers meant to vibrate madly when they appear? Because they certainly did ? almost scary, lol! But it certainly added to the impressiveness of the moment.

Obviously in a level like this the gameplay is secondary to the visuals and the story but I enjoyed collecting the bubbles. I did wonder whether getting the gem could have been made into more of a puzzle rather than being a pull this switch and watch these platforms appear moment (although that was all very done). That?s probably a personal thing though because I enjoy puzzles.

It did take me a couple of minutes to work out how to drop the block in order to be able to get to the gem section. I think it was because when I jumped on top of the block and grabbed I ended up grabbing the top section of the pulley not the base. Not a big issue as I realised what I was doing wrong but it looks like some people have found that section confusing from the comments.

Your level was a pleasure to play.

Thank you, shropshirelass!
At the beginning when i created the hidden forest it should have become a whole cave level, not a forest level. But in this time i watched avatar and thought that glowing plants would fit good into a dark level and aftert people told me they want a longer forest section i decided to make the following levels only forest levels.
I already tought about the "jumping" flowers and i think i know an easy solution for it.
Again thanks for such an detailed review
