I've seen a lot of levels using thrusters to create a smoky effect. You know what we need? Particle emitters. You know, things that shoot out smoke, fog, sparks, explosions, things like that. It would be aesthetic mostly, but we should be allowed to make out levels prettier hmm? =P

Good idea Would be good to crate an atmosphere Another one i can think of is steam (this could actually be a hazard!!!) I can imagine running through an exploding facility of some sort, while trying to avoid pipes spewing steam from the pressure buildup =P

i've thought something similar. i wish there was a way to create smoke or steam without the noise of either a rocket or something dissolving. steam is a great idea. both lethal and non-lethal (ie, patches of fog rather than over the entire level)
