Custom Colors

Archive: 13 posts

Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone knew how to make their own custom colors? I know there are lots of people giving them away but I want to make my own shades/stickers created by me.

The reason I ask is because I have already made a custom-gradient maker level, and I thought it would be cool to include solids too! =D

Hey check out NemesisNinja on little big planet. He has a level that is just a color maker. You can see how he uses lights and the global lighting to make a colored sticker. It's very nice.2011-01-10 02:57:00

my favorite way it to take a large piece of blue wood and use an existing MM sticker (with the color you want in it) and make big enough that the color you want from that sticker is visible alone. if it is a complex sticker make it big and cut away the parts that you dont want your color to be. then make that rectangular box of a single color huge. Next turn fog comletely down, light and darkness all the way up, front view and take a pic! hope that helps2011-01-14 19:46:00

Yeah, I tried, but the stupid camera doesn't let you take pictures of the background color. ( but will take photos of Mm backgrounds)2011-01-14 19:50:00

If you want a sticker with any color just go here:

I didn't make the level but I use it anytime I want a specific color. It works great!

I'm pretty new to this, and I think I missed something. How do you "make" a color at all? Is there a process by which you can take a picture of a new color and transform it into a sticker? I know how to capture your own objects, but not stickers.2011-01-16 02:31:00

You don't need to do anything special to make a sticker; you just take a picture using the capture photo tool in your sticker menu and take a picture with it. Then you can do anything you would like to do with that picture just like any other sticker. Now to make a color sticker you just need to find a color you want to be in your pop-it and take a picture of it. And there you go! Your very own color sticker! I hope that helps!

you may have misunderstood what i said. what i meant was if you have the dealt background and you change the fog color to the color you want that will show up.2011-01-16 05:44:00
