RECRUITING: <*^*Glitches 3*^*> --Glitches 2 has 144000plays 23000hearts

Why to want in?
Hey everyone!!! Most of you know me as the person who made this level: http://lbp.me/v/rcsd1j . currently with 23000 hearts and 144000 plays. I created that level on page 2 of "Most Hearted" along with 3 other levels of mine on the 1st page of "highest Rated". Anyways I know you are probably just thinking "this guy is a show-off" but the point that I am really trying to get at here is if you can help me, I will credit you as a creator of the level, ultimately giving you a lot of page views to your earth. This isn't just some level that is expected to get 10000 plays or 1000 hearts.

What I am looking for
Anyways to get down to my point, I am looking for some serious level design detailers. What I am looking for is someone who can create A-Class designs to display the glitches in. For this project I am looking for someone who is willing to dedicate a significant amount of hours into designing, at least a few hrs at minimum. I am not just looking for a quick place of squares on the big grid ^^

As far as it goes for me, I can do the majority of the basic designing, I am more looking for someone to help detail up the level =]

Anyways if anyone is interested, in a comment below just leave me a first name (so i know what to call you =P) and a reference level in the format of a lbp.me link along with whatever else you have to say! ^^ I am not even planning on starting until early-mid February, I need some time to go through story mode.

Sorry for the misunderstanding ^^ I didnt mean build most of my level, i meant "build on most of my level". I am going to do the majority of the major designing, i am just looking for someone to detail it ^^

Dude, the thing is, bragging and sayingthat you're good, JUST because you made a glitch level isn't really impressing anyone, heck, basically anyone could do it, I could do it and get tons of hears if I wanted to (and trust me I could pull it off in less than a few hours, considereing I already got the glitches.) but I don't, because the only hearts and plays you shoudl really brag about is that of the actual levels, again, iI'm betting 90% of people there are only interested in the glitches, than in the scenery, they don't care that YOU or anyone else made it, only that they're getting their hands on a new glitch.

When did I ever say that I am awesome? All I said is that I have a good reputation, something that could be shared with someone. I am aware of the fact that I am a sucky creator, I know it, I am not hiding it. The fact of the matter though is that I got to where I am, and I am proud of myself for that.

You said you want the concept. That's called COPYING, which is the reason there are thousands of bombs survivals in LBP!

Obviously in LBPC the creators would be more worried about the quality of the level but you can't always be sure. That may be what you thinking, but really the reason i put it up there, was to give users some reason to click on this thread and say to themselves "oh look at that! this is intriguing" to make them want to click on my post. Hopefully with that title, and under the forums section that it is posted under, it will be some incentive for people to open this thread up knowing that if they were to help out on a level it wont be something that will get 1000 plays and be a waist of their time.

My favorite glitch is the good level glitch where if you go in create mode for like 200 hours and work your butt off, and save it when you're done then there's 1 in 10 chance the save file will be a good level. I got that that glitch once, but nobody believed it was real when i tried to publish it and said i should have made the glitch a prize.

It's even more rare than the transparent sticker glitch.		2011-01-07 10:19:00

And as proven by Ninja up there in the previous post, it seems big names see that moreof a 'noobish' sign, if you will, since you're still implying you're good or that you MUST be helped because you got hearts on a glitch level, and I'm fairly sure the top names, and mainly anyone would be more impressed (or impressed at all mrore like it.) if you placed the plays/ heart on an ACTUAL level you've BUILD, not a copy-pasta glitch level, of which there are hundreads and is now basically treated as H4H and Bomb/ Shark survivals, you know?
Not to mention you'll annoy and P.O. A LOT of people who have gotten less plays and hearts one ACTUAL levels or on levels they actually put effort on, that includes the so mentioned "big names," who also have been getting lesss than they should due to the over-spam of this kind of levels.

Just wanted to say that "calling the atention" to the viewer so he clicks on your link is a non-liked method. THE USER chooses what he wants to click. By putting a cap-on title, you force the eye to see that title (yes, it focuses on cap letters) and so you're forcing the viewer to get on a thread he didn't choose.
And don't say "oh but he did click it, so it's the viewer's fault" because it's not true.
Just a bad example (couldn't think of one better): A guy want to sell you drugs, and you accept. The guy who is making something bad is HIM more than you.
So, yeah, you're braging . (Did you saw another guys write their hearts and plays in the title? No. Then do so).		2011-01-07 20:43:00

I feel like it's worth it to comment on this one, so I'll jump in once more.

I am exactly thinking from the point of view that you're writing. You made the topic so that people would click on the thread. And I know that it's effective, topics like this get more clicks than topics without blatant advertisement. My point is that I absolutely do not want this forum to be filled with topics like these, that are uninformative and are really just advertisements. Other people play by the rules, and it would be very nice if you did too.

I wish a moderator would've come here and asked for you to clean up the topic by now, I don't understand why no one's intervened. While one topic like this is ok, I don't want this to be made an example that topics like yours are acceptable in LBPC. Because they shouldn't be. A topic's purpose is to tell what the thread is about. Topics shouldn't be a competition of who can get the most attention with cute decorations and merit lists. Check out donkey show's topics. If the guy would mention that he is the creator-god of LBP that he is in each topic, they would get even more hits than he does already. But the man is more mature than that. You can be, too.

What you write in the first post is absolutely up to you, but topics should be kept clean for the sake of all users in LBPC. I hope you stop to think about this for a while and understand why this is something to consider.

Now, I would also be a bit careful of saying that creating a level that gets 1000 plays is a waste of time. Many people here, myself included have worked months to pour their soul into a LBP level that may or may not be fantastic, but because of glitch levels and such they didn't get their deserved time in the limelight and not a lot of people found the levels.		2011-01-11 00:14:00

Please explain to me (in a private message) how the title is misleading. I said i am recruiting for the 3rd level of a series, and the stats of the previous level. The title is saying what the thread is about and why you should want to help. I am not seeing how it is misleading.
