I'm not too sure whether the harmful gas MM have produced for us in LBP2 is appropriate for so many reasons. It tends to introduce lag to the player whether it's 1, 2, 3, 4 players no matter some lag is found here. It isn't very appealable coming from the visual side of things... In Lbp1 the gas was nice and calm but this one seems to be all over the place, outside the outline/shape the gas should be in I understand this is only a BETA but it's only a suggestion for the future ^^

From what I have seen, the gas in LBP2 doesn't look... Well, horrible anymore. The gas in LBP1 reminded me of looking into oil... This gas seems to look more like a realistic gas, a smokey, cloudy substance..

The new one is alot better. It fills the entire Layer rather than just being a thin sliver of the thick layer - same with fire.

well it does use the same graphics from god of war so there are bound to be differences. They just using special shader based anti-aliasing invented by God of War 3 creators

Would it be possible for them to add an option when selecting the Horrible Gas colour? Something along the lines of: Gas Type: Modern/Classic. I have a feeling that if enough people complain, they'll release a patch or something which gives you an option. They both look very different so I think it would be worth while to have both.

the LBP1 gas looked OK but I like this gas (from what I've seen on video because I DIDN'T GET THE BETA Mm) *ahem* so what were we talking about? oh right gas. I think they just gave LBP2 more Taco Bell and Mexican food that's all. but seriously. (lol pffftt...) I think the gas shouldn't stay in it's EXACT shape because that would look unrealistic but it shouldn't go all over the place too much like the LBP1 gas, there should be a limit on how far the smoke goes. maybe like one medium grid size away?
