How or where can I play user levels?

Archive: 6 posts

I tried to go online and play some of the user levels and I didn't find that many. I was rather disappointed. I then read yesterday that LBP hit over 2 million user created levels. Where are these? I really want to see about playing these levels, but I guess I am missing something when I try to get there. Please someone help and let me know where and how to access them.2011-01-01 05:59:00

You wont find many decent ones on the cool pages or anything.
Best advice would be to search for keywords ex. "ratchet clank"

Or just play through all these spotlight picks (http://spotlight.lbpcentral.com/). 845 levels will take you a while.

OK. I will try to access these later today. Still not sure how but will print out what you said. Not sure what "Col pages" you are talking about. When I go to these links you gave me what do i click on or look for to find the levels. OSrry asking so many questions...just a newb to this game and wanting to play.2011-01-01 22:01:00

Well.. the spotlight search engine is a tool you can use to search on Creators or Level Names. The spotlights pics are basically the ones the spotlight team has put their stamp of approval on.

One you find one, you can use LBP.me to search and add it to your play queue. We have a new interface here at LBPC and at some point, most levels will end up with their LBP.me links in them. That means you can quickly add them to your play queue and then once online in LBP, simply go and play them out of your queue.

Hope that helps!

right now you have to go on LBP, go down to Community, then click search to the right of it, then click Text Search & type in the name of the author like this -

@Lockstitch

If you put an @ before the name it will find levels by that person, and not level names that contain similar words.

To use the spotlight search engine, look at the author/creator name and search @name on LBP, then you can use the "find more by this author" option if you'd like to see more of their levels.

in LBP search section you can also easily find the MM picks section full of good & great lvls. hopefully, the spotlight search engine will integrate lbp.me backlog links soon so that you can use the Add to Queue option and find them in your LBP "My queue" search section.

check out the http://www.lbp.me website and log in with your PSN. You can search, browse and add to your queue there, youtube style.

Hearted levels are levels that LBP players or lbp.me users really like, so browse people's hearted level lists too.
