I made two levels. One is called: fun obstacles979797 (Sorry for the complected name. The only reason i did that is so that i could find it and make sure it was published) . And the other one is called: race 979797. I was wondering why no one is playing them . PSN: goat9797

You should think up some more original titles so they stand out a little from the crowd. Just a thought

Well my advice is two part: First realize that there are a ton of levels published on lbp... I believe were heading towards the 4 mil mark. So when making a level try to make it as unique and attractive as possible. Second realize that you will not make perfect levels as soon as you begin. It took me three months of pretty solid creating to get into a good groove. To get better, make levels and do f4f on this site to get advice from other creators on how to improve your levels. its because your an idiot. Sheesh.. nice 1st post u have there.. @ the OP, I also agree in using different titles.. and maybe posting in the Level Showcase (F4F feature is reali handy).. EDIT: I just did a search for u on LBP.me and I queued ur levels, I'll have a play through ur levels when i'm on the PS3

Yep, F4F on this forum is a really good place to start. You'll likely get constructive critisism, which is good. If everyone says your level is bad, than there might be some truth to it and you'll need to get to work to fix those issues. If everyone says it's great, then that's a different kind of problem to work on. How are your star ratings from the people who have played it? PS. Ignore the guy with the rude comment. There always has to be one I guess. EDIT: Also, I would take out the 979797 stuff and change the name. "Fun Obstacles" doesn't sound fun at all. If you are going to make a lot of obstacles, I would create a "theme" to put them in. A race, a carnival, etc. Unless the platforming is something extremely unique - it helps to give the player an "experience". Just my 2 cents.

Anyway, F4F is "Feedback for Feedback". You post your level in the "Level Showcase" section. Then, you play someone's level that is listed as "F4F", leave your feedback (tell them what was good and what wasn't) - then they will return the favor. Also, some might see your level listed there, play it leave comments on this site and ask for your to return the favor. That's it. It's a great way to get plays and feedback. Check out my link in my sig labeled F4F (it's one I did a long time ago - but was very sucessful and many of the comments helped me fine tune the next level for my Dream Catcher series). You don't have to play it, I'm just saying to check it out as an example of how you might advertise your level. I highly recommend doing it. Good luck.
