Developments!! Im not going to get into detail, but i work at a certain gaming store on the weekends (these last 2 weeks too! winter break = chance to make $) and today my manager got the message to expect a large shipment of a "Release Title" on the 16th. A release title being a game that they wont disclose, but a game that is coming out soon after, usually 1-4 days. There are 2 other games that we found that are going on the shelfs between those days, but none of those would qualify a notice to expect a large shipment. Anyways idk I was told this and got excited, had to share the word. Figured that this game COULD be lbp2, not officially, but a very high possibility of it! I know this is irrelevant information to the most of you, considering it doesn't change when you get the game, but its information regardless! This most likely means that the game has gone into production.. otherwise they wouldn't be sending a expected arrival date.

yh you might get the game early but whats the point also if you go on don't you think if you go on community levels there wont be any because it just came out.

Well this does bring more info than you think. Since there's sometmes a person/place that breaks the street date and with a big game such as this its very likely to happen (even though its illegal) There won't be anything online for them, but usually those people put up streams or videos of it so we might get a lil sneak peek

no offense but obviously all game stores get the shipments a couple of days before release to stock em up for when it's time to sell them... as for information...unless you're planning on "borrowing" some copies when they get to your store and selling them to people or something so some of us can get LBP2 early...then I really see no point in this thread at all :/

You in the beta? on the official beta forums Tom_Molecule said he is transferring over to the live servers some select lvls from the beta. I dont care about online play tho. im all about the create ^^

I have seen some pretty irrelevant threads on this site, I wouldn't say this is the most useless. No need to get all angry, i understand if raising your post count is ur thing, just to get ur comment in and raise ur lbpc xp.. but all im doing is sharing my speculations with the fans of the game ^^ if you dont want to continue to read this thread, then dont. :3

Hmm... I want to ask you guys to play nice, but I really can't, given the surprisingly civil (yet slightly confrontational) tone between you ^^ On topic: I considder myself a lawful citizen, but I must admit that the thought of seeking out some mom & pops game shop a few days prior to the official launch have crossed my mind at least a time or two. There most likely wouldn't be any comunity levels - it might not even be possible to access the servers before launch, but you would still be able to play Story Mode, collect your building materials, and get started in Create Mode. I'm not endorsing people to actively seek out and break the launch date, but if they do I most certainly understand why

Well in my coutry somethign strange occures and some products like to go before release... specially Sony published games. For example i got my copy of MNR two or day before release (you can see my trophies) , but in store shelves it was even 4 days before ( iwas not sure to buy it now), UC2 was been relesed 1 day before relese in one store, in fact it was adrvitised as exclusive offer (so this one could be offical SCEP agreement). So i will start hunting for LBP2 few days before, since as experience above showed i may actually find early copies of LBP2 around it might not even be possible to access the servers before launch LBP2 runs on same servers as LBP1, that big server update that was few weeks ago on LBP1 (one activating Queue and mmpicks) was actually installing LBP2 support in to them. If you would run LBP2 on your console today you would be able to play it online (ofcorse there would be no body to play with), same as preview copy users.... actually there already community levels made by them lol: http://lbp.me/v/v39ed4 Either way, they wont be any good levels out right after launch anyway, same as it was with beta Als there gonna be leak for sure, if you guys ever watched BlackBusterCritic you would know that he got his games copies few days before relese when he worked in store and im sure he was just one in a sea of such store employees

Ah yeah. really tho, im more of the creative type. On average I would say i only play 5-6 community levels a week, half of which are only me looking for an item >< If i can though, getting a head start on the story lvls wouldn't hurt ^^

They'll get removed at release date.
