Yeah me and TIL are 'cooking' up a storm (like what I did there )
We'll review any kind of level, even concepts and on either LBP1 or LBP2.
You're level gets marked on stuff like its gameplay and its scenery, the usual, so if you want an in-depth review head on over and we'll (hopefully) have it done in no time.

I'm goona go whack that in my queue now then, I think minigames tend to do a BIT better than platformers simply because of the originality section we mark, not many really consider the originality of their levels and so the chances of you fluking an original minigame are higher than with a platformer, the science of LBP eh

Well I see it as a kind of good thing for someone else to review my next lvl. Different opinion of my kind of lvls. Though, it IS a different lvl.....

I have been working on this one for a while, and it is a sequel to my other lvl Scurvy Rat.

This lvl is nothing but a giant puzzle-ish lvl. It uses stickers so be sure to turn on COMMUNITY STICKERS. I mainly want to see if people can figure out how to get past the first room. Not because of difficulty, but to see if my puzzles are too far fetched. Like puzzles that only I can figure out because I made it. I plan on making an even bigger version of this lvl and more puzzles and more backtracking fun (but when you backtrack it changes). Hope to get a 10 (not really, but I am a little confident in it) so I hope I don't disappoint (even though this is a first impression to you)

Thanks for the review TIL. I had a feeling that some of the puzzles could use some guidance. And I know it's dungeon not dungion. I thought the torch for the I looked cooler. XD. It's just, the only true way to see where to put help is to watch them play. I don't want to put any indication as to where you should go, because then it's just going from point A to point B. If you don't mind, could you go into further detail on what you had the most trouble with (You don't have to write it in the review, I guess just p.m. me)? And I guess lastly OH MY GOD I APOLOGIZE. I FORGOT TO MAKE THE GUARD. I'm serious. I had planned on making a guard to replace the place holder but never got around to it. I tested the lvl and was around that area so much that the guy kind of blended into the background. I'll have to fix this right away!2011-01-07 22:00:00

If you don't mind, could you review it? If I publish it in LBP2, it kind of seems outdated. I'll have people saying stuff like why didn't you use this and this. Please don't review my 2nd pyramid in LBP2 because this level is NOT working! I have got my copy of LBP2 today and I am very unhappy what Mm have done! Thermo in LBP2 SUCK because my each pyramid is MUCH too big in LBP2. I maxed out my 2 pyramids in LBP1 very well but those pyramids are taking even 1 and HALF thermo in LBP2. I tried cut off first chapter, then second chapter, then third chapter and fourth chapter but thermo is still RED. I wish you are reading this Mm, if you weren't sure which levels from LBP1 will work and which won't in LBP2 you could give people choice. I am not going to cut off half level so I am very unhappy that I can't block my pyramids in LBP2. Now people playing and rating them low because they don't understand that is NOT my fault. Yeah, don't put yourself under pressure mate, it'll probably come to you naturally. I know how impressive your pyramids for sure and it would be cool to see that in create mode and perhaps I could give you some thermo tips but I dunno if they'll make too much difference

Sorry Mm, I know you probably won't read this but I think anyway you should know that problem, how you wanted to do LBP1 levels compatible with LBP2 if they don't fit to LBP2 thermo? Worse because my pyramids take MUCH more, they take 1 and quarter thermo, WTF? I love LBP1 and I hope I will love LBP2. Actually I could do a special deal with you seeing as your in a different situation.
I have a sequel in the works to a level I made called 'LBP on PSP', it got me 32000 hits and I'm currently recruiting BETA testers for it, if you want I could let you BETA test that and I could BETA test your level to help you out

@GILUPL - Why don't you use a lvl link? But perhaps that's what you meant about the 20 lvls. Also, did you change all your logic into LBP2 logic? And I noticed stickers take up a lot of thermo when used a lot.

I published a lvl in LBP2 that I made in LBP1, and everything was messed up. The lighting was wrong, the gas no longer is see-through-able when darkness is set to the max, and the gears I had underwater did something, so I had to move them a bit so you could get through (I Have NNNNNOOOOO Idea How This Happened).

Anyways, I think I fixed the problems, and Shade 2 is done. Though I'm sure there will be a lighting problem somewhere.

Aha, my queue now is 3 levels long so I'm not panicking JUST yet And it's my fault for trusting them to work while I was gone aha Nah we hired someone on a temporary basis to cover me but he saw how much wirk was necessary and he ran for the hills so... if you think you're up to this... lol. Aha crack in time I watch too much doctor who myself Yeah I think our policy is when telling people that some parts of there level is bad, don't use adjectives lol, just give ideas of how it can be improved lol.
Ahaa, ermm, disadvantages to the job... well you've already seen first hand we can get a lot of work on the go. We're so famous now that we review on three different sites so you might want an account on network and galaxy as well, we do try to be as quick as possible, i.e, playing the review and writing it within 24 hours, and you might have to add people as friends to try out stuff that they haven't published (pain when your list is full ) , also you would be reviewing for the this_is_life92 and Draden's review bakery which we can't rename because we've had a 5000 hits banner created for us, sorry. But other than that lol. If that hasn't put you off I would certainly love to hire you on a temporary basis, maybe give you two weeks, give you some of TIL's extra reviews and if we like what you're doing and you like what you're doing then you can join us for GOOD mwahahahaha.

On a slightly happier note.
The bakery recently passed it's 5000th total view over all three of its forums.
This is a tremendous achievement considering me and TIL only set the bakery up on the 30th August last year :O

WOW, 5000 in just 6 months. At that rate it may be 15,000 in the next 6 months. I added in extra fans.

I know it was mainly TIL that did all the work lol, I was once in a competition in network involving the PSP and because I knew I wasn't gonna win, I did a little overview of all the comp levels just to help out the players on what to play and TIL saw it and we joined forces!!
Yeah it took us a while to start working on central and there have been times when me and TIL have been unable to review so I suppose our hit count could be much higher still :O
We've got some pretty big ideas on where we go next as well

OMG i was read my review and this is a good review, thanks for consider the all work inverted in the lvl, and i have say some thinks my level not contain story for two reasons, this levels i had thought playable in a way because i was inspired by the creations that are most in lbp 1 wanted to make it fun, challenging and above all 100% playable, and at what levels like this only had one in my repertoire of creations and Wood World as i have always had levels full of history and even the aftermath of itching in Steam INC in LBP 2 Beta and history contained there wanted to say goodbye to the last game with something to cheer to be played and above all cling to each player to get the secrets, it is true that ability to find and get the first one was difficult but i know from my friends testers to try it could and my wife tried it and although i knew there was sure put a challenge that almost all the players could achieve, i think to some difficulty in level was not exaggerating but i like the design and decoration have been assessed and that every detail you've informed me receiving a very detailed review of one of my levels i will improve and grow in my next level.

Now I'll be the first to admit that our little friend is a tad on the suicidal side but that was the original plan, you were meant to shepherd her through carefully. Though yes, there are times where she randomly dies for no fault of yours. I'm currently working on a huge patch for it which will include a reworked microchip for her, an extra part at the end to add a bit more closure, some tweaks of the level here and there to make it more "sackbot friendly" and botching parts where you can just fall off the level, like at the tree.

I wasn't planning on corner editing the beams, but I'll have a crack at it. Possibly after I add the other stuff because it will take ages to get it right.

I'm not really too bothered about the level not being met with major success, I'm just happy at the overwhelmingly positive feedback it's received. I'm glad you enjoyed it (:		2011-02-06 11:16:00

M'kay, shouldn't be too far away. Most of the time will be taken by me umm'ing and ahh'ing over how exactly to end the level. I've just been reading about how to keep a sackbot alive in water which seems extremely tempting but I doubt I'll end up doing that.

It's the same level as before but "version 2" instead with all the updates promised earlier bar the corner editing one. I settled on creating alternative endings for whether you keep her alive or not, the one where you don't is a bit, let's say... cruel... and I'm worried I went too far with it.

Hey, just dropping by for 2 things.

1) I was wondering how much longer I have to wait until I'm reviewed (what number in line am I?). Not trying to rush, just curious.

2) I don't know how you review levels from LBP1 (if you pop in LBP1 and try them or play them on LBP2), but I'd suggest playing mine in LBP1. I just got LBP2 and tried my level, and it's definitely not what I want it to be. The lighting is shot (environmental lighting and individual lights), camera angles don't aim where they're supposed to, and the final boss can't die. It doesn't do the LBP1 version justice. If you do play them on LBP2, I'd ask that you give me a heads up and please hold off until I can fix everything (or at least try to).		2011-02-08 23:15:00

Well it was the second part of the mini game. In area you could spend the points the player has earned acquired to get the bubble prizes for themselves. Somewhat of an added incentive for replayablility. The two prizes that you saw at the end of the crane area were two examples of the purchasing mechanic that I added to the game. If you stand in front of the prize, a prompt should pop up telling you how much the prize would be to purchase. And yeh... I know that bit is hard. In fact I was at a friends house and made him play the level (as you do) only to have to take over in order for him to get past that bit. I think the problem comes from people not thinking of how they grapple it, they just do it normally. The trick is to just build up a ton of momentum by letting yourself free fall until you're level with the pivot and then grappling it.

Another way of doing it is by swinging up one way, letting go at about 40 degrees from the vertical and then grappling when you're level with the pivot again, holding up+the direction you're going and then release at the same angle. That way you can just build height without the need for a platform. (:

See, puzzles xD. I don't really have any plans for making it easier (in the original design it was, in fact, about 1 sackboy higher that you needed to swing up to), I know some people like to warn others that their level is hard to avoid frustration-rage but I'm quite unapologetic when it comes to said things. Not everything's meant to be easy

Anyway, really glad that you enjoyed it. I'm always quite nervous about these things seeing that all kinds of stuff can come up when someone looks at your level closely. Also, if past experience is anything to go by joint levels with me don't usually get to completion... mostly because I keep trying to twist the story so that it turns out the level was the mad dream of the sackboy, who is shown to be crying himself to sleep in a straight jacket.

Apparently that's not what people are after in a superhero level. Bah!		2011-09-06 18:13:00
