After finishing my 12 Days Of Christmas level, I set to work on implementing an idea that had sparked along the way. I had an idea for a level that would test me, something very different from the Jonzian platformers I had made thus far. As to what the level is... well, I can't tell you everything, but it takes place in a beautiful black and white world, with great scenery... ...and that's where I ran into trouble. It seems I am incapable of creating anything that looks remotely like a tree. My level will look too empty without any little details, and so I turn to you! Create a Black and White Scenery Pack! In a copyable blank level, create your thin layer package of black and white scenery. Just because I mentioned trees doesn't mean that's all you should do - go wild! If you want a theme to work with, I'm going for an "elegant mechanics" feel. Don't worry about static or dynamic, if it's published in a copyable level, I'll be able to choose. Just don't take too long, the deadline is January 15th! Now, on to the fun part... Prizes!!1! Grand Prize: You'll get your scenery package used in an upcoming level by BlueBulletBill - credits given in the description! You'll also get a special in-level nod to the level of your choosing! As if that's not enough motivation, you'll get the opportunity to beta test this level too. And if you're not satisfied yet, there's 1000 EXP in it for you too! Second Place: You'll get the chance to beta test my upcoming level and 750 EXP! Third Place: You get to beta test my new level, and you'll be given 500 EXP! What are you waiting for? Awesome! Great idea for a contest B3. If I finish work on my time machine and are able to work concurrently on the same time-strand with my own time-clones I will most definitely enter. If not, I'll see if I can at least take some pictures of the entries for you. Oh, and LOL @ the disclaimer.

@ Questor - I've been unsilenced for about two days now. Somebody's slow. :-P @ Jimmy - Yeah, I was silenced for a while. You can use a thick layer (though I might not include it in the level), but I'd prefer you stick to black and white. A deadline is now in the OP. @ Dizzy - Yes, copyable please. Though if you wanna magic crater, it's fine by me. EDIT: Wow, seems we're experiencing the effect of being rearranged already. Wert, this is a PSP thread.

So I remembered this contest and gave it a crack. So I have spent most of my morning building the intro scene. Honestly, I think I'll win unless someone very good at creating can balance it out a bit. Anyway, do you want to know how crazy it looks like with words only? Let's just say it's so good that I think I might reconsider not entering this contest. Ouch, that must hurt to hear. Though!! I did say might, who knows, maybe I'll let this AWESOME intro go... Who knows... Anyway, more words to describe the level. If you thought the Black and White area in Journey Overworld was Amazing, then you better find a word that can top that off because this intro I made beats Journey Overworld's Black & White planet... By A Lot!!! 0_0 Anyway, I wish I could show you it, but I need to add 1 more section before publishing... That is if I do publish... X)

Oh mah gawd, I can't believe I forgot materials. I've been using Fiber Paper and basic Polysyrine for white; the black paper material and stickered Fiber Paper for black. Hope that helps!

Magic Crator is a method of transferring levels by copying parts of LBP's save data and giving the files to another person. It's named as such because you use one specific level crator for the process.
