I was playing some online level with my sis and we got to the finish. we were dancing and jumping and pressing random buttons (as you do when you finish a level) and then i looked away for a second while my sackboy was in mid-air and my sister said "wow how did you do that!?" and i said "do what?" and the she said that i did a backflip or a flip or something like that. no wmy sister does not lie, and when she does she is joking and tells me after but she swore that she saw me do a backflip. is this possible? and if so, how do you do it? please help!

I don't think u can do a backflip on LBP1..I think you can on LBP2 tho

The only backfilp I know is on the PSP version using L and Up on the Dpad while Sackboy is smiling. On LBP2 Sackboy will flip while using bounce pads but I don't think there is an LBP1 backflip.

You can do all sorts of flips in LBP2 by using sackbots and rotators, but I don't think you can in LBP. Try doing the PSP animation, but on the PS3 (L1 or L2 + Up on D-Pad.) And sorry to be a party pooper, but please don't beg for plays, 'cause like double posting and bumping and stuff, it's not allowed...

yeah the closest you can get to doing a note worthy backflip in LBP1 is to bolt a circle to your sackboy and rotate it in the air. But in LBP2 you can perform aireal tricks such as backflips, barrel rolls and spins. also you can add rotators to sackbots to make them do flips aswell :hero: hope that helps!

STOP QUOTING!!!! Don't shout... Within the context of the question posed in the OP: No, sackboy cannot do backflips. Your sister must have been confused and seen something else.
