i had everything in lbp1 but then ps3 broke and had to delete everything from hdd. so then i got a game save file thing and put it on my ps3 and it works fine on lbp1, i have everything again. but when i get on the beta, i have nothing. what can i do??

have you tried expoting the profile (if you haven't) and importing the profile into lbp2? because, it's an lbp file, it needs to be transfered in order to work for the next game!!!

Did you re-import your save data? Remember, they're still 2 different files.

i did go on to lbp1 and import and backup profile then i went to lbp2 beta and did the same and also clicked on import objects collected in lbp1, but when i click that it said, you cant import collected objects fromlbp1 profile cause its been copied from another user.

I'm a little confused. The steps are: 1. Go into LBP1 and backup your profile in Settings. 2. Log out of LBP1 and launch LBP2 Beta. Go to settings and IMPORT your profile. Is that what you did exactly?

It doesn't really matter since the beta is almost over but if you still have this problem in the retail version of the game then there might be something wrong with your ps3 but that's my thought i got nothing.
