Something that concerns me...

You see, I'm worried that I won't be able to play LBP2 as much as I played the first game. Not because I can't, but because I fear it might not hold my interest long enough. Let's take Fable 2 for example. I loved that game. Sunk 100+ hours into it. Completed it to 100%. Then, Fable 3 was announced. I was really looking forward to it. I was super excited. However, once I got Fable 3, I finished it and never went back. I didn't sink half as many hours into it as the first game, and I never completed it 100%. For some reason, I fear that LBP2 will share the same fate. I'm afraid that I'll complete it and move on. I don't know why. I'm just afraid that LBP2 won't have the same new, fresh, innovative feeling that the first game did. I don't know. | 2010-12-29 01:07:00 Author: littlebigmeteor ![]() Posts: 396 |
The new game is innovative, I'm sure you'll find something to do on it. Just gotta wait and see I guess. | 2010-12-29 01:38:00 Author: Radishlord ![]() Posts: 706 |
I think that buyers will have continuous intrest in it. It looks like it has tons more story levels than the first game. Also, the create possibilities are endless and MM promised that they will contiuosly update the game. | 2010-12-29 02:18:00 Author: TREMIC1 ![]() Posts: 263 |
Funny, I was just thinking that a few weeks ago. I know that the game will be good, however I doubt it will have the same charm as the original. But, I don't think your analogy with Fable is quite fair LBP is an online game and I think everyone will find a new tool or feature that they will practice and get good at. For example Im interested in makeing movies with sackbots, cutscene cameras, and voice recording. So with LBP2 I believe that people will make great things that just weren't possible in LBP1, and I think thats what will keep us hooked. | 2010-12-29 02:37:00 Author: Coreyeatpie ![]() Posts: 40 |
If you create in LBP1, you will be like fish in water in LBP2, that makes you go even feather ![]() | 2010-12-29 05:04:00 Author: Shadowriver ![]() Posts: 3991 |
Have you played the beta? If you haven't, and if you like to create, you really are in for a treat in LBP2! And judging from the Story Mode trailer, what Mm have said in various interviews and the recently released Demo of LBP2, I think the Story Mode alone will make the game more than worth the purchase. Besides, I have heard from a handful of my Xbox owning friends that fable 2 actually is the better game? (I don't have an Xbox and haven't played any of the fable games, so I'm just telling you what others have told me...) Basically I wouldn't at all be concerned if I were you ![]() | 2010-12-29 08:10:00 Author: Slaeden-Bob ![]() Posts: 605 |
You cannot complete a game like LBP ![]() | 2010-12-29 11:32:00 Author: Jonaolst ![]() Posts: 935 |
Yes, I've spent many hours creating in LBP1. I could never really get a clear picture in my head for a full level, but I still loved to create. Also, yes, I'm in the beta. | 2010-12-29 18:23:00 Author: littlebigmeteor ![]() Posts: 396 |
