As you all know, Eu will be getting a ''smaller'' collector's edition than US's. Many of you are probably dissapointed, but there's light! Some guy named Andr? Mackowiak, made a petition. He wanted the CE of Bioshock be the same for EU as US. The developers said if they're gonna make it the same, you will need 5000 signatures. Andr? Mackowiak succeeded with over 20 000 signatures. Now he want to do it with LBP 2! Here's a quote from him: "Dear Mr. West, You may surely think that petitions for video games have no use at all. Most have not, but a few do. Recently, the Little Big Planet 2 Collector's Edition was announced for Europe, causing great disappointment. Instead of unique swag like bookends and a Sackboy puppet as in the US version, Europeans only get a steelcase and digital content with even less DLC than in the US. I want to unite all fans in PAL territories against the poor Collector's Edition, every fan waited so long for. The US CE was announced in July and after a long wait and rumours that Europeans get no CE at all, SCEE didn't come up with something big. Usually its not the pure amount of signatures that counts, but the media buzz the fans create. Thus, I would highly appreciate a heads up at Gamereactor or an update on your current LBP2 news." Signing. It's unlikely to work, but it won't hurt! Plus I've already preordered the original game, rather than the collector's edition... Wait... Can you change that? Can I remove / move my preorder for the first one, and change it to a collector's edition preorder? Hmmm...

I didn't realize people outside the UK were allowed to sign when I posted earlier. So I signed now. I hope this doesn't effect the Collector's edition here in the US. I wouldn't want to lose a bunch of stuff after I've already payed.

I didn't realize people outside the US were allowed to sign when I posted earlier. So I signed now. I hope this doesn't effect the Collector's edition here in the US. I wouldn't want to lose a bunch of stuff after I've already payed. It's low chance that it will effect anything, but everyone have law to free speech and petitions is one way to do it, whatever response will be or not.

I'm sure the DLC will come out again eventually, just like God of War and Nariko. It's the physical items you guys are missing out on. So unless you just want the sweet steel case (I would) it wouldn't be such a big loss to order the normal edition.
