For my project ideas in lbp2, i wanted to have a main character, one who could do things not possible with regular gameplay. I reallized you could do this with a sackbot, but I also didnt want to take away from that unique experience you get from playing as a sackboy. Anyway, I heard that there was a way for the sackbot to be able to copy the same costume as player one, two, three, or four. Is this true. If so, I figured that I could make levels where you play as a sackboy, but have a dynamic sackbot act for you in movie custscens. That way, it could do dynamic acting while looking like you and not taking away from the original feel. But I first needed to know if this is real or not. I also need to know that, if it is real, does it change costumes whenever you change a costume or switch controller placement with another player. If so, could you refer me to some videos or tutorials where it shows this?

I'm not in the Beta or anything, but I think it's true that Sackbots can copy the players' costume Um, I'll look if I can find some videos... I'll post some as soon as I can find them. As the others said, true. This is how they get sackboy to do cutscenes in the storymode...... I assume.

does copy player 1-4 mean people can copy your costume when they are in a game with you even if you don't want them to? or is that just players 1-4 for the console your on?

No, it means sackbot copy your costumes, no one else. However, if you in online create mode other players can do sackbot, make him copy player costume and then go to costume select for sackbot and save the costume, then they will get your costume, and it's something that is hard to avoid so watch out who you invite in OC
