Zynga Games

You'll probably know them: Games from Zynga.. They're all over social networks.

I've played farmville for a while (not very active) and i just started with CityVille (which i think is more fun).
Now what i was wondering.. Why do these games constantly push you to send free gifts to other players or want you to share stuff with your neighbours? After everything you accomplish you get a pop-up to share money, xp, fuel and such. Does zynga receive a small amount of cash for every accepted gift or something like that?

Everytime the application is loaded Zynga gets money from advertising. They also get the ability to attract new players. It goes without questioning the more players they have the more money they get. As an LBP player you know that spamming is a good way to get your game/level noticed, Zynga just do it on a much grander level.

Advertising, and I believe there is some sort of premium money that you can actually buy.2010-12-26 14:06:00

...Because every time you click on it, there's adverts on the page, and that means more cash in their pockets.
