Why not have chat boxes in groups?

Archive: 6 posts

This idea actually started from why the group doesn't tell you who is on in your group at that moment, in the group's page.

Not only would live time chat (with or without video) be more efficient, but it would be better, so we don't have to turn on our PS3s just to see if a friend is on in that group. Even then, not all members are friends on PSN. There would still be threading in groups, but also a chat box. Also, why not have private chat boxes with people you already know but aren't in a group with them.

Once again, I haven't been on LBPC for very long, but this would be nice.

I quite like the idea for a type of Online/Offline group member status being visible while viewing a group page. as for actual chat boxes in groups.. i'm not too sure.

EDIT: I don't hate ur idea, I just feel that quite a large number of chat boxes, might cause a few stray problems to present themselves.

But yea... the chat is a thing that every pre-Vbulletin4 members on LBPC want back

Aw, well that sucks. How about just chat in groups? Of course if it was a compatibility problem before I'm sure it is still gonna be a problem.

Thanks for the info.
