Mag Key on Sackboy?

It's not a trick! It's a glitch!

Steps:
1. Put 2 static grid squares by each other, but about 2 grid squares apart.
2. Connect by string.
3. Capture the Object.
4. Place the Object out of 'My Objects' and have the Sackboy stand directly in the middle of the string.(the same layer too)
5. Take a Mag Key and place it on the Sackboy.

It also works with:
EMITTER!!! (Like the creatinator, only you can't aim. Itstays in one direction.)
Mag Key
Mag Switch
Sticker Switch
Grab Switch
Sensor Switch
Creature Navigator
Magic Eye
Magic Mouth
Camera Zone
All Music and sound objects

Imagine the possibilities!!!

The object only stays on sackboy in the level.

When you save the level, Wherever your sackboy is is where the object is when you enter play mode. (It will still act like it is attached to him.)

If you save the level with sackboy directly infront of the entrance, the object will be on him in play mode.

This can also be used for the ultimate sackboy tracker.

You can also attach a string to some of the objects that you attach to sackboy.

I wrote this very fast so if there are any typos or other stuff, sorry.

wow great xmas present cory!
its almost as good as the cashew nuts santa got me!
i will toy around with the glitch and save my cashews for later.
edit this should work with winches, pistons, rods etc...
and you may be able to bolt sackboy to stuff as well.

You Can stick anything flat on your sackboy too just glue whatever you want on him after you have put a mag key on him

I just deleted my sackboy and froze my game

I captured sackboy already. He is in my popit. Though, I can't take him out without freezing my game. I'm working on it though.

I'm also uploading a video to youtube to confirm my magnificent feat. It just feels nice to know that I am the first person to do it.

Cool glitch, you might want to add that you can lethalize sackboy.

Sackboy can walk through walls (including the boundaries of level) when you turn him into gas.

Incredible, this will definitely change the face of LBP PSP, but this is such a huge glitch combridge might actually comtemplate releasing another patch, so make sure to keep this discreet, well, as best as you can outside of levels!2010-12-26 04:45:00

I'M SO SORRY!!! I forgot! I got so exited yesterday when I found out that I was getting a PS3 today, that I forgot!

Anyway, I have to thank randomperson3469 for the setup of the blocks. He discovered how to lethalize sackboy. I found out how to use the setup to attach things to sackboy.

a warning.
you can get a creature brain on sackboy.
if done correctly he will pop it on entry.
this results in killing him and freezing the game.
you can still edit the level though.
oh and we should be safe because cambride are not doing updates.
ps winches are interesting on sackboy.

put mag key on sackboy
put rocket on mag key
the rocket can now be glued to anything provided it is in the same layer.
delete mag key
delete rocket
sackboy is now glued to the centre of the object

sorry for the double post
when a level is saved mag key location is saved relative to the level emterance.
eg. go above the level entrance with object on sackboy and save.
the object will appear in that exact position above the enterance

during play the object moves relative to sackboy.
eg.sackboy moves left the object move left exactly the same distance.
this works on all axis apart from z

1 objects are Always in the same position relative to sackboy
2object location is saved relative to the level entrace
3 if a dynamic object with weight such as a rocket is generated, the position of the coded floor is altered so it obeys law 1.
4checkpoints work in the same as level entrances
5 anything that alters the appearance of sackboy or is attatched to him is only in existance for the duration of the level

these rules will allow you to predict the effects of what you do to sackboy.

If you attach a proximity switch to your sackboy, you could make the ultimate permanent switch; wow, just think of all the possibilities.

In all seriousness, I may have to attach an emitter to sackboy and make like a wizard demo level or mario level and just shoot fireballs everywhere.
