A piece of Cake, a piece of Coffee, and a piece of Feedback for you Eagerneph. I just want to add, I haven't gave feedback in awhile. I even missed feedback on my favorite creators. As you can see, I finally reached a certain point in LBPC where I'm just quite... how do you say... I'm lazy. Lol Anyway, I think not a lot of people know, but if you comment on my profile for feedback, I'll never reject. That's why I'm here to give you feedback. Besides, you are awesome, you deserve. Anyway, just like every feedback of mine. Were done with my introduction, and so let's get down to business.

Before I start complimenting everything I liked about your level, I just want you to know why you are very UNIQUE and AWESOME. Okay, I've finally found out about what makes you different from any creator and I know why I like you bud. After playing "The Color of Music", I couldn't quite understand why you stand out from the community. After playing "Coffee Cake", I knew why... You may have a Platformer Style going on just like VelcroJonze, and BlueBulletBill. Though, what makes you very different is the fact... *Drumroll* Your Obstacles!! I've noticed your obstacles are very different, and it "Wows" the mind. VJ and B3, it's just jumping, dying, and other crazy obstacles. You, on the other hand, your obstacles are dynamic. The platforms move, you create pathways with emitters. Your Platforms give an awesome Dynamic feel. You, my friend, are a great creator.

So, the introduction. I like the LBPCentral Logo. To make it better, the colors fit with the level. There goes the dynamic feel with the emitters creating a wave spread. At first, I didn't like the song, but the more I think about it, the song fits the theme really good. Great choice of music. I like the Easter Egg with the Wooden Block Man. Very cool, put a smile on me. I like the platfrom that goes from side to right side up. The arrows give an awesome dynimic feel. I like the spiky terrain, it adds caution to the level. The bubbles add excitement to the level.

I enjoy the swinging sponge obstacle, plain, but still cool. I like how one of the switches form a path with the emitters. Your sounds add a nagnificent effect to it. I enjoyed the obstacle that brang you from one side to the other with a wobble bolt. I see you know your mechanics. The ending was pretty plain, but overall the level was Outstanding! The materials shine a fun style. Gameplay is very enjoyable. The level lasted neutral, I wish there was more because you are an amazing creator. I've had no errors, glitches, or bugs during my gameplay. It was fun all the way. Now I'm done talking, so let's see what your ratings are...

Length: 5/5 (Good playthrough, and decent length for a platformer level.)
Material Usage: 5/5 (The Materials describe the level. Coffee Cake, sweet, and fun. XD)
Sticker Work: N/A (Hahah... Yeah, let's skip this one)
Corner Editing: 5/5 (Your corner editing is smooth. Everything is marvelous.)
Terrain/Mechanics: 5/5 (This is why I like your level, your obstacles.)
Story: N/A (Is this a joke? XP)

Total: 20/20 Perfect Score!!

Your a very great creator thr first time I met you. You deserve a lot of attention. With that said, I gave you.....

5 Stars :star::star::star::star::star: and a heart <3

Your are talented with coffe cake,

Wow! Thanks sooo much for this massive amount of feedback Spark! Haha yeah, I would've made the level longer, but I was afraid that something was going to break, and the thermo was restricting me by a lot. Velcro knows the story. Thanks again for all the feedback! I really, really appreciate that. Merry Christmas!2010-12-25 03:28:00

Okay, first of all, thanks for giving me a sneak peek at this.

Second of all, Wow!

I know I have already given you feedback via pm's but I insist on more. From the moment I spawned into the level I knew this was different. Let's face it. You are known for Color of Music. I love that level. If someone picked up lbp on psp for the first time, and I picked the first community level for them to play, it would be COM. That level screams lbp!

But, this is no Color of Music. Where as COM is bright, vibrant, and stickered up in colorful and fun way, Coffee Cake has a refined, streamlined, and almost sterile look to it, but very cool visually. The title is perfect. I know a great title when I hear one. Just look it this level. How can it not be called Coffee Cake?

You are incredible with gameplay. Maybe one of the best. You just know how to make a fun, great playing level. Gameplay is not easy. Good gameplay requires hours of playtesting. I am 100% sure you playtest the *** out of your levels. Every obstacle you created was unique, and the platforming is some of the best I have played in many moons.

No story, but does a level like this need a story? This is classic platforming at it's best, and that is more than enough for me.

I think the length is perfect. I was criticized in the past for making short levels, but you need to leave them wanting more sometimes, right?

Anyway, thanks for putting this up, it is an early Christmas present. I just hope we don't have to wait another half year for your next level.

Hearted of course. <3

I read this, and it reminds me the time I was happy for the feedback Amazingflyingpoo and Taffey gave me.

Anyway, you're an amazing creator. Don't worry about the length, it was decent. It wasn't short. It was satisfying. Anyway, It's not Christmas here yet, but Merry Christmas.

Thanks! And yes, I actually playtest every time I even save in create mode, just because I want to make sure everything is in proper working order. And if not, then I'll go to the copied version of the level on My Moon, and work on that one.

I would've had more, but my camera doesn't cooperate very well with dark material, these were the only ones that developed okay.

Your level truly is a treat. It's funny, because when I downloaded this level this morning, we had coffee cake

Great gameplay, similar to VelcroJonze style but with eagerneph flavor. Delicious!! :star::star::star::star::star: and a <3

Short feedback again, , I'll try and pack everything in speedily...

Amazing level! The visuals are neat and nicely themed. They are not as decorative as you previous level, however it fits perfectly. The main feature is certainly the gameplay, its dynamic, as mentioned before, you have a unique platforming style thats great fun to play. You have nailed the gameplay, all I can say is try and add and expand the visuals, or even give it a story.

Oh yes and, Merry, um, Boxing Day!

Coffee Cake
eagerneph
Score:9.0/10
Rating: :star::star::star::star::star: & <3

Short, sweet fun. Like that first bite of Coffee Cake.

Story:
Nadda, no story here. N/A

Gameplay:
Gameplay is awesome. I like how you have your own style of gameplay. It is really fun and blends together. Bubble combos also add value. 10/10

Music/Fx:
Music was a decent selection, could of been better. There were a lot of sound Fx. Not a variety but a lot. 7/10

Asthetics:
THe visuals were pretty good, but you were a little sloppy at times with the corner editor. For some reason it seamed that you were trying to spam that black rock in my face a lot. It looked kinda wierd. Could of used a background. 7.5/10

Originality:
Original all around. Like always you find a way to make something new. 10/10

Misc.:
No problems here. 10/10

Eagerneph again follows up with a steller level to the Color of Music. This level is very fun and should be enjoied by all LBP PSP'rs.

This is a review for eagerneph's PSP level; Coffee Cake

First Impressions

My first impression was WOW! He used emitters to emulate the effect of a pattern growing larger! I've seen that in a few levels, and I mean only a few
http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd366/The-Questor/4.jpg
Plus the corner editing wasn't half bad either.

First Impressions Score: 5/5

GamePlay

This level had nice Gameplay,it was very cool how the emitters were used to overcome, and create obsticles.
http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd366/The-Questor/164775_152732801444865_100001244370805_317594_1554 365_n.jpg
Though it was a little short, it had a lot of awesomeness to macth every bit of it!

GamePlay Score: 4/5

Originality

Very original! This levels theme was not having a theme, therefore making it as if I was playing through an unincorperated masterpiece!
http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd366/The-Questor/164775_152732801444865_100001244370805_317594_1554 365_n.jpg
I would of never thought of using tons of emitters to help sackboy throuh this EPIC journey!

Originality Score: 4/5

Level Design

Here is the level's best aspect, everything down to each emitted object, and every corner edited, was designed to be a source of some enjoyment!
http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd366/The-Questor/166855_152710938113718_100001244370805_317483_6370 306_n.jpg
This picture displays 4 blocks, perfectly emitted to interlock withn each other.

Level Design Score: 5/5

Scenery

There weasn't much corner editing going on in this level, so I can't say too much there, but the visuals were awesome, they did need some extra corners edited though.
http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd366/The-Questor/162781_152713111446834_100001244370805_317518_7185 92_n.jpg

Scenery Score: 3/5

Fun Factor

The level was kind of short, which reduces the Fun Factor Score a tad, but regardless, it was super fun.
Every emitted object was epicly placed, thus bumping up the fun-factor!
http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd366/The-Questor/6.jpg
I really loved how this level felt, it was awesome. Super fun as well!
Fun Factor Score: 4.5/5

Overall Score:
__________4.5/5__________
The emitted objects were stunning!
A little logic here and there and mountain of emitting!
This level made me feel like I was playing, the feeling of eating coffee cake!
Heart: Hayell Yeah!

Tips:
Keep doing what you're doing eagerneph!
Iz epic level!

Final Words
Second High score! Yay!!

Hey man I loved the level :star::star::star::star::star: and a <3. I thought that the materials you used were great and the gameplay with all of the switches was really fun and still a little challenging. I'm thinking about using this in my level 2010 so let me know if it's it ok on my thread here: https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=42065-2010-Preview-Pictures!&p=724133#post7241332011-01-06 03:14:00

Sorry for the late promised feedback eager. I truly forgot about it . So, I decided to go into some detail and do a good job on it to make up.
20/20 Gameplay: You had some very unique platforming here! I haven't played a straight up platformer on LBP this good since Jackofcourse's. I really enjoyed the part where the scoreboard and an entire wall shift in with the pull of a switch. You incorporated bubble collecting and added your signature hidden rooms in a few parts as well. I also liked your easter egg type guy who blocked your way if you tried to go up the hill in the beginning. That way a better way to block people from going up there rather than something like invisi-material.
20/20 Visuals: Outstanding! You always have a way with emitters. That emitting effect on the floor was very unique, and you arrows went well too.
Your corner editing was spot on, and I liked how you only used about 3 materials the entire time, it looked good rather than being repetitive.
20/20 Story/Originality: A very unique level and one of my favorite platformers! A great way to end 2010.
