as proved by unXpectiD in "the psp sides future..." i am stupid. because of this, i do not have the mental capacity to decide if getting a ps3 means that i should make a new account as i would like a new account for the name, etc, but like to keep it for the money on it, the (very bad) levels on it and the games i have brought on it. any suggestions? as i am to stupid to choose myself.

There is no stupid question, only stupid answers. You can use your PSP PSN account and keep the funds and purchases as far as I know.

Yeah, you can create a new account and keep the one you have. In fact, I don't think there is a limit to how many accounts you can make (but there probably is)
