Will your 'games' in LittleBigPlanet 2 be treated as actual games? Will trailers for your 'games' be posted on places like Machinima? Sadly not, because to the rest of the world, your games are just part of LittleBigPlanet 2. But in OUR eyes, your games are pieces of art, filled with..whatever it's filled with. We treat your games as actual games, and that is not quite as crazy as you may think. CraftEarth Games is separated into two parts, thus we will go over each. PART A Part A will start off as a YouTube channel, and may hopefully evolve into a blog. Basically, we will post trailers, gameplay footage, possibly FULL playthroughs, and if this whole thing doesn't fail, maybe we will even do soundtracks. You may have noticed the (BETA) part in the title. That is because CraftEarth Games just isn't quite ready for lift off, but some issues caused me to launch it early. When it is complete, there will be two ways to submit your trailers, playthroughs, etc. 1: You can simply submit the videos yourself (AVAILABLE NOW) Right now this is the only form of submitting we will be accepting for now, but sooner or later I'll try recording some of the 'games' and movies (Oh yeah, did I forget to mention we accept movies as well?). The reason why this is the only way you can submit right now is because, well, I'm the only one of the team with a capture card! Recorders welcome! If the video you submitted is good enough (aka not a pile of stinky bomb survivals), we will put it on the YouTube channel. NOTE: The video you submit DOES NOT have to be made by you, but you must mention who made it so we can give them credit. We will also ask the creator before we upload the trailer if it is okay. 2: We'll record it ourself. (COMING SOON) Don't know anybody who can record your games/movies? Well do not fear, for WE can do that for YOU! For the very over-priced price of ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! This way will be slower than normal, but hey, it's worth it isn't it? NOTE: Imagine the words in CAPS pop up on your screen and echo. Besides trailers, gameplay, etc., we will also post other fun things, like Top 10s. If we ever launch a blog, it will have reviews, interviews, and more! NOTE:The YouTube channel is currently not up. For now send any videos you have to me. PART B What if perhaps, you don't feel like going to YouTube (whatever that reason is)? Well don't fear, PART B is here! If this doesn't bomb, every 3 months we will hold the 'LittleBigCon'. It is an E3-like convention with booths, fancier booths, booth ducks, demos, and even whatever kids call those shows (press conferences I believe) now-a-days, where if we deem your game/movie good enough, it will be shown off here. For now there isn't much info on this, but when the time comes it will have its own thread (NOTE: Part B is not a copy of alexgangsta4's idea. This has been in the works since August.) PEOPLE NEEDED: -Recorders -Commentators -Mindless Servants -Video Editors Right now, the YouTube channel is in the works, but you can still submit videos!

This is an excellent idea, UltimateClay! Things are looking up for our community, better and better things seem to crop up each day. Your project is very promising, and although I may not be really helpful, I hope everything will be ready soon. Tell me if you still need servants! (oh, well...Okay...)

Why did you cross out mindless servants? I could be extremely good at that! Also, maybe you could also give reviews to the levels you make videos for. You could keep it short to save time too. I think I could help with a name... ummmm... Games of the Little World (GLW)????? I don't know...

So... if I am to understand this right, this is pretty much a service to get game-like projects a'la LBPC: TG more recognition? Well, sounds good... Not sure if we can/should start sending videos yet since LBP2 isn't even out yet... but meyesssssss. Pretty good idea. In fact, I think something akin to this should be added to LBPC... something giving more credence to gamelike projects I mean.

GOC is good. Also I could help with this if anything opens up that involves typing something. But if not I wish you luck on this Ultimate idea by UltimateClay (See what I did there?) I think I could help with that Top 10 if you ever need help finding good levels. I like to play levels, and create them so I know what can be done. I would be able to give write-ups for each level too!

If this project gets off the ground, I could give you an exclusive with my game project. This seems like a very good idea - some sort of a system for "publishing" completely new games within LBP2 is needed. I support this idea. :star:

Well, Im 15, normal American accent, have a semi deep voice, at least how I hear it, your voice sounds different to you then it does to everyone else... Anyway, I also have a pretty good mic that doesnt cut out in the middle of when Im talking. Id be honored to be a commentator! Also, this project sounds like it could be world famous if it becomes popular just like LBPC did! And if this forum can... Why cant (insert ever changing title here)! Minor note... I got two new games for Christmas, so my mom wasnt too into the idea of me getting another game tomorrow... But Im working on it! EDIT: 3rd page FTW!

This sounds epic, if this is done right it could become huge! I have a Mic and a Pinnacle capture thing laying around, and pinnacle 12 software disc. I'd have to set the Pinnacle up to record but that shouldn't be too hard. I don't know how to send video to people though... all I have ever done was record and upload directly to youtube. I'm told i have a pretty good voice...though they could have been lying to me lol I was thinking about something like this too, the only difference I thought of was including Games/Levels, Movies/Films, Art(Sticker Prints, Statues, Paintings, etc), and Music. That way it incorporates everything. Then there could be episodes for each genre, showing the handpicked best, and a big best of the year episode where you pick the best of each category to be showed in the episode.

Update: Besides LittleBigPlanet 1 and LittleBigPlanet 2, CraftEarth Games will now include Tristanjmnz's upcoming fan-game: LBP2D! We're discussing trailers, sneak peeks, etc. right now . So if anyone has Fraps or any other good screen recorder, you can now feel free to apply!
