I know it's Christmas time and People should be happy.
But when it comes to this time, i'm thinking about the ones i've lost and the ones i haven't seen for a long time.

In 1999 there was a Boy. A nice and friendly chap.
He had a Girlfriend. She was a sweet and kind Person.
The two were just made for each other.
Like finding the missing Piece of a Puzzle.
They had plans for their future.

One day he was hanging out with friends, playing Basketball when she wanted to go and pick him up.
A stupid drunk man hit her with his car and ran off, leaving her behind.
Later her Brother called the Boy over to the Hospital.
She died...

And something inside that happy and friendly boy died along with her.
His heart was torn apart and he lost his happiness.
But he promised her to never give up and do all he can to go on.

He's working hard now and still friendly.
But he's not really happy. He never let's anyone getting close to him.
I haven't seen him for a long time, but i know he's still around...

Such is life.

It's not fair, but if that's the hand that fate has played, then all you can do is accept it and do your best to carry on regardless.

But people shouldn't be afraid to be miserable sometimes, permanent happiness is not a natural state of existence. Life is a painfull, heartbreaking struggle - The myriad disappointments, the yawning chasms of pain, the glow gnawing descent into physical decay, the sheer unrelenting horror of it all.

But just remember that you are alive, and how lucky you are to be alive - how improbable it is that you are alive in the first place - and be glad that while you were alive you cared enough for someone to be hurt when they are gone.

It's cliched - but it really is better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all.

My, this is the first time I encounter reading something like this in real life (same scenario happened in a book called 'the reluctant fundamentalist' which I am reading, more or less). At such time there should be people around him to pull him up from the frothing bath of misery, that is at least what I presume how his world is. When the heart is most silent it may be because it is screaming at its highest inside.

Cuz somone probably looks at his mean messages, then looks at his avatar, and says "Aaahh, he's just drunk, he doesn't mean it."2010-12-25 02:23:00
