It could be an emitter or helmet feature; instead of emitting an object, it emits a variable directional force that affects the movement of objects based on size, weight and distance.

I got plenty of applications for such a fun feature. Fly around and blow balloons into a goal. Play tennis versus another player with a ball of floaty. Collect trash the vacuum cleaner way (if the force can be reversed) and score points.

Oh, and who remembers the lethal vacuum trap from Lemmings 2? Getting sucked into a tube when sackboy walks too close...

Well it's possible to emulate it, but currently LBP2 doesn't have force vector overlay for native, even on movers, for LBP2 object can be stronger or not, pushed or not. If you ever played with winch based logic you would also notice it. So i think they need to solve this first but then i would broke lot of levels2010-12-23 13:56:00

I think there are plenty of ways to emulate this. In fact I am imagining a less than less than symbol "<" with three tags on one, one at the vertex and one at each end point. Place a follower set to flee, and adjust the settings for appropriate acceleration speed etc. Emit the the object toward the object, (and I think) viola!2010-12-23 14:47:00
