if you were one of many RPG fanatics like myself and you ever played and got into DRAGON AGE by BIOWARE...then you are well aware of the suggestion I'm about to make. when Dragon Age was out I purchased the collector's edition and found a TON of DLC included in it. Nothing big right? but then I noticed random mini-games the developers made, an online game, and various other PROMOTIONAL things...and you know what they had in common? they all came with FREE DLC so there's my suggestion/idea for Mm to do to help promote LBP2 for new comers AND give us loyal fans some delicious treats. reason this idea came to mind was because someone rumored that the prehistoric MOVE game comes with exclusive DLC (don't have the MOVE so I can't confirm...unless this can be done ONLINE) anyways yeah it would be great if Mm got more involved with their fans with promotional things like this and web games that gave off free DLC that was made specifically for those games...i don't mean win a webgame they made and get a free MGS PACK i mean like maybe make a sackboy samurai fighting game and if you beat the boss in the game you could win an exclusive samurai sword or samurai armor and such. would also be a neat idea for those who submit custom sackpeople to have a chance to have their sackpeople that they made up as REAL DLC (since we don't know if they'll make another SACKPERSON COSTUME CONTEST like they did in LBP1) sooooo discuss

Hmm. This could be interesting, however what would you suggest as a mini game? It's not like there is something that could be covered with a flash game, that could not be covered by a level in LBP2. Keep in mind, Bioware was attached to EA, and they have your GT linked to a specific account. Therefore, they could credit your Xbox account with the content. How do you purpose that they emulate this? Furthermore, I would prefer to have people show creativity with what they do have, I personally have seen some amazing content that was user created in LBP1. On a related note, I thought the outfits for the LCE was supposed to be the User Created Sack People. Would this not be related to Dragon Age's "TONS of DLC" that you mentioned in your post? P.S. Not meant to seem like a flame post. Just trying to get some further insight as to what you think.

to that long EA post it doesn't need to be linked to an account...you could just win a CODE to redeem at the PSN store (or something could be added to LBP.me to give us an account with them to redeem special things so they dont waste time on codes) and having mini-games of LBP i have no idea but it wasn't restricted JUST to mini-games and web games those were examples...I was talking of promotional things that could net you some exclusive DLC like a pair of gloves or a special sword hand item or a cool coat/duster. and idk what the LCE is...all i know is there was an old contest for people that drew sackpeople and a select few one...they said they wanted to do this again but are unsure if it'll happen again... anyways at the end what REALLY matters is Mm giving away FREE DLC but in a fun way and something exclusive to that game as to make it more involved with the community

Sorry, let me explain on LCE. LCE is Limited Collector's Edition. I used EA as a demonstration, not literally meaning that it would be needed to be linked. Go out to Gamestop, and you can find the Limited version of LBP2, along with what it comes with. As I tried to explain, I am not trying to shoot your idea down, rather I would like to see what you have in mind. I personally would like to see a challenge to get the code (Or credit), rather then have it free on the net. The duster sounds interesting, but how about something more. Maybe a Dragon Age themed set, Mass Effect themed set, and a western (Dare I say Red Dead) themed set. The code could be set into a certain level, and in order to get the code, you would have to do a certain thing. MM might look here for an idea, and I wouldn't want them to think this idea went off half thought. I am interested in seeing what you come up with.

What I think: there should be contests on lbp.me that give out free costumes, stickers, materials, etc, etc. it could be in two catergories: Sackboy Level it coud also be in a theme, too top like 100 or 200 winners can get those prizes and the prizes are gamesharable. the contests can be like once a month.

ok, but how about instead, theres a catergory in which you have to win in order to get it. On lbp.me and on lbp it'd have called the "contest level" in the search section. Edit: I also like the idea with design a sackboy, you can draw it, then there could be a new feature on lbp.me thats called "upload sackboy idea". then MM can chose 3 or 5 each month and sell it for 1 or 2 months.

contests are already done and you can see only great creators win those...so what hope do i have when i can't create scraps? but i do like the sackboy contest idea that they had before but being done at a constant...would love if they did that

well as long as an MM staff member does it (johnee maybe?) and its not IMPOSSIBLE to complete i'd go for it and maybe since LBP.me is linked to your PSN it can automatically give you the DLC for you to download later as soon as you've cleared the level

Well this is a basic thing to ask for xD Haha well yeah everyone loves free stuff... i think that goes with out saying x3 but it is a interesting idea with how in what other ways they could go about it, Only free stuff for holidays and contests is better then nothing but would be nice if there was more other ways, Well sometimes websites give out free DLC codes for LBP for promotional reasons, thats how i got like two of my DLC costumes. *Mew

yeah but it was packs we already could buy like the norse pack and stuff...woulda been nice if we could get exclusive DLC from like a flash game or something about samurais and when we win it we get like a samurai pack that gives sackboy a katana and other cool things and you can't get that DLC anywhere else but playing that flash game and it could be linked to your LBP.me profile too so you can download it from there or something
