Sequencer speed

Archive: 8 posts

I have recently tried to put batteries on a sequencer to control animation of stickers, but even at the highest Beats Per Minute, it is still slow. The batteries are at their smallest size according to their icons.

Is there a way to speed up the sequencer even more so that the batteries stay on for just .1 to .3 seconds or do I have to use timers?

There is a tweak option to change the speed of the sequencer, something like "time / stripe".2010-12-21 17:26:00

Are you using the music sequencer? I think if you use the regular one it can get pretty fast.2010-12-21 17:29:00

I was using the music sequencer. I did not see another sequencer. Now I can't wait to get home to hunt it down!

Thanks a bunch for your quick help!

Merry Christmas to you all!

You logic sequencer (one with red clocks in advance logic) it have more logic friendly functions and it's easier to control it, use music sequencer to logic only if you want it to synchronize it music, since that sequencer is optimized to play music.2010-12-21 19:03:00

Thanks for clearing things up. I am not sure why I missed that. I was using the selector with a timer connected to the cycle input as a pulse generator, but if felt very limited.

I was thinking that I wanted the ability to vary the time for each frame. That is why I liked the idea of using a battery to vary the time of transition within the sequencer.
