Either this is an extremely racist post incinuating your dad hates black people, or its totally random... I think it's because Obama is anti-guns. Yeah!!! I knew they would pull through! Man i love the olympics! Go kenyans go!!! This could also be seen as a racist comment... | 2008-11-05 05:42:00 Author: Dropbear Posts: 272 |
I actually got a little choked up during his speech. Not because he is black or anything like that, but because this one guy just changed the world. One man changed the world. I know it wasn't just him. He had an army of supporters, but he had the vision, courage, and persistence to become the next president of the most influencial country on this floating rock we call Earth. How insane is that? | 2008-11-05 05:55:00 Author: Voltiare Posts: 646 |
I told you so. | 2008-11-05 11:47:00 Author: Unknown User |

He had an army of supporters, but he had the vision, courage, and persistence to become the next president of the most influencial country on this floating rock we call Earth. How insane is that? I don't know what to say to this. No one - republican or democrat - doubted the man's ability to win the presidential election. Can he do the job? That's the real question here. But you state that you got choked up, but not because he's black or anything like that. Yet he changed the world? What exactly changed? Please explain what's different today. I truly hope the man does a good job. I wish him well and I will support him as I feel it's the right thing to do as an American citizen. I just hope that the man delivers on the many promises he's made throughout his campaign. | 2008-11-05 12:05:00 Author: supersickie Posts: 1366 |

Either this is an extremely racist post incinuating your dad hates black people, or its totally random... My dad is a hardcore Republican... so he felt like fighting the power by buying a gun. ^_^ | 2008-11-05 12:43:00 Author: Code1337 Posts: 3476 |
Glad obama won , he just seemed like the overall better candidate no offense to Mcain I think he was a worthy contender but personally for me it was the Palin factor that kinda gotta to me. I seriously think had Mcain won this election and that would mean i's a 72 year olds heartbeat away for this woman to become president. And I would have feared that to be honest. | 2008-11-05 12:55:00 Author: Kyashu Posts: 447 |
Well on friday 10/31 we had a mach election in school. 55-65% of us voted for obama and now hes president | 2008-11-05 13:22:00 Author: Unknown User |
My school was like 80% McCain (mock election). I don't mind if someone has a different political opinion than mine, but most of them knew nothing about the candidates and were just voting for arbitrary reasons. I hate Palin with a passion so I'm glad McCain lost. I like McCain, but Obama's better. | 2008-11-05 14:43:00 Author: HobocidalManiac Posts: 117 |

Please explain what's different today.Well, first of all, he was an unknown 4 years ago when he ran for Senate. Here is a guy that came from nowhere and he managed to become the most important leader on the planet in 4 years. He sent a message to the entire world that the American Dream is still alive as well as the American values of generosity, equality, and unity. It isn't over yet. This is where is starts. We now have the chance to restore our country to it's rightful place of the leader of not just military or economic might, but of moral and idealistic might. | 2008-11-05 15:19:00 Author: Voltiare Posts: 646 |

Just glad to know that some realize this is the beginning of a long road ahead. Again, best of luck to President-elect Obama. | 2008-11-05 15:26:00 Author: supersickie Posts: 1366 |
first off great name voltaire second, i agree, i voted obama but i wouldn't have been crushed had McCain won... i would just REALLY REALLY hope he wouldn't die... that palin is one crazy mamajama | 2008-11-05 15:29:00 Author: thegibbie Posts: 25 |
i just hope he doesnt decide to pull out of the war because if that happens where in trouble both britain and america and possibly the rest of the world, cause he he decide to pull out then it give them a chance to regroup take the country and because there a lot of extreme muslims, they are going to cause choas. what obama going to do what are his politcys, i didnt want him to win for the reason that he said he going to pull the troops up, i think they should stay i hope obama doesnt pull out of iraq and afgan, i confuse who we fighting for what reason, i know one to hunt down the terroirst and the other one i dont know the reason why i want to keep the troops in is because if we let of the attack the terriorst is going to take over that country. And if he decide to pull out i not a happy camper what are obama policys | 2008-11-05 17:58:00 Author: panzer3000 Posts: 362 |

This is a sad day for America. You'll have to excuse me for not just accepting your comment as truth. Can you please explain your thoughts? | 2008-11-05 19:53:00 Author: supersickie Posts: 1366 |
Well, first of all, he was an unknown 4 years ago when he ran for Senate. Here is a guy that came from nowhere and he managed to become the most important leader on the planet in 4 years. Disagree with him being an "unknown". 4 years ago, he was chosen by the Democratic National Committee to give the keynote speech at Kerry's Democratic nomination (sort of like how Clinton was an "unknown governor of a southern state" prior to the keynote speech he gave at the democratic nomination of Dukakis vs. Bush, Sr.). A lot of the democratic higher-ups saw a lot of potential in Obama when he was a state legislator. And you can't deny his popular support. Does that mean I agree with his policies? HECK no (not a snowball's chance in "He-double-hockey sticks)... but he's going to be the next president, and I just have to hope the other side wakes up by next election and puts up someone who appeals to my beliefs (and hope the rest of teh country agrees with me when it happens), and that any of his bad/questionable policies are defeated as soon as possible. | 2008-11-05 20:06:00 Author: DaSaintFan Posts: 136 |
The beauty of the American system is that Obama isn't all powerful. That way, if he has any horrible policies, they will be sorted out. | 2008-11-05 20:56:00 Author: Code1337 Posts: 3476 |
yay for him! i cant vote but i wanted him to win and i knew he was going to win for some odd reason. and i was right he actually dominated Mcain. kinda funny how obama won mcains homestate! | 2008-11-05 21:01:00 Author: Snrm Posts: 6419 |
The beauty of the American system is that Obama isn't all powerful. That way, if he has any horrible policies, they will be sorted out. This would be the case if the democrats didn't have both the majority in the House of Representatives and Senate. Bottom line, Obama won't have much opposition towards his policies for at least a couple of years. yay for him! i cant vote but i wanted him to win and i knew he was going to win for some odd reason. and i was right he actually dominated Mcain. kinda funny how obama won mcains homestate! Correction, McCain won Arizona with 54% of the vote. I'm sure you're confusing Arizona with New Mexico. | 2008-11-05 21:04:00 Author: supersickie Posts: 1366 |
You'll have to excuse me for not just accepting your comment as truth. Can you please explain your thoughts? What's there to be jubilant about? Obama doesn't care about the Constitution and he's continuing Bush's war. | 2008-11-05 21:23:00 Author: sqweak Posts: 17 |
What's there to be jubilant about? Obama doesn't care about the Constitution and he's continuing Bush's war. Obama claims he's going to end Bush's war, at least the one going on in Iraq. And what has he done that would indicate he doesn't care about the Constitution? Forgive me, but some direct examples might help you make a better case for your distaste for the president-elect. | 2008-11-05 21:40:00 Author: supersickie Posts: 1366 |
i was really hoping McCAIN would pull through and suprise evry1 lets hope im pleasntly suprised by obama | 2008-11-05 21:56:00 Author: ea9492 Posts: 444 |
Obama claims he's going to end Bush's war, at least the one going on in Iraq. And what has he done that would indicate he doesn't care about the Constitution. Here in MIssouri, Sickie, he attempted to get the state attorney general to go after a television station for a "hateful" ad it aired (According to the missouri news, he wanted the station fined and hinted that he was going to get their license pulled.). Heaven forbid that "evil' thing called the First amendment get in the way of dissenting opinion | 2008-11-05 21:56:00 Author: DaSaintFan Posts: 136 |

Forgive me, but some direct examples might help you make a better case for your distaste for the president-elect. um Obama said he would end the war in a year. Why take so long to end an unjust war?! Obama voted for the Patriot Act and the reinstatement of the FISA bill. He's made it clear that he's no fan of the Second Amendment. | 2008-11-05 21:59:00 Author: sqweak Posts: 17 |

Don't doubt it, but it's very interesting how much stuff gets overlooked by the national media. Wait, it's not surprising at all. | 2008-11-05 22:00:00 Author: supersickie Posts: 1366 |
