Clean up outer space with your phaser by pressing R1. After 5 hits your toast! Have fun! (Will be extremely difficult with multiple players)
Hey there! I ran back into this level on my moon a while ago, and forgot why I didn't finish it! I fixed a few things, added a little more logic, and decided to publish it, so here goes!

28359

28360

Oh no! Meteor shower! Warp into the space stations high tech laser bunker and incinerate any and all space junk, especially those pesky U.F.O.'s and aliens. Press R1 to fire a high energy laser blast at any incoming debris. Got a few screenshots now!

I understand there are a few things to fix, ie difficulty, and some emitting stuff, but thats what level sharing is all about! Thanks for playing, hope you have fun! (Especially if you feel you want to see some screenshots first)

Wow, well made and really fun! I tried to go for the high score, but musicgato76's 15,010 points is just too tough for me to beat I gave it 5 stars and a <3.

By the way, the level badge says "metor sweeper" rather than "meteor sweeper", thought I might point that out.

Haha! Didn't even notice the mispelling! The highscore by musicgato76 was because the difficulty was much too lax before I republished. I noticed you played it 9 times though! I really need to get that badge fixed now...

EDIT: Fixed the level badge! Thanks for that Sporkchops!

I really liked this one, but it felt just a little slow and at one point the gun pointed to the left and i couldn't get control for maybe 7 or 8 seconds. That is my only complaint, everything else looked and played very well. I will definitly be playing more of this one.2010-12-21 04:12:00

Hmmm, maybe I'll try kicking up the speed of the wobble bolts to make it a little more activating. Thanks for playing though!2010-12-21 04:39:00

Hey thanks! Most of the time I spent building the laser went into making it smooth. It was pretty tough to make it the way I wanted, and there are still quite a few issues I see as well.2010-12-21 18:20:00

Ohoh, I love minigames. I've just played your one, and I found it cool.
Overall it was fun, and nicely made. But, to be honest, I think you can work on the controls and on the background. You should add that "space" feeling, maybe making all darker, adding other details such as little stars, maybe.
And, the controls. I found them a bit difficult to manage. Why don't you use a 3 way controlled switch, so that te movement of that laser turret is the same of the left stick, I hope you understand what I mean.
Anyway it was funny, I liked it.

I'd like if you tried my level for F4F: "The Long Night of Mr. Krom" or "Mm Squad's Christmas mission: Protect the Pack!" by xDante95x. You can find the thread clicking on "My Creations" under my nickname. Just choose one of them and play it, then give me a little feedback

Yeah the controls were definitely an issue, and I would agree I could increase the ambiance a little more. It is actually controlled by a 3-way switch, pushed different ways by winches, activated by sensor switches on the light.

I'll try and balance the darkness a little more, but I did have little stars in there, so I don't exactly know what you meant by that, but thank you greatly for the feedback.

Feedback
Positives:
+The game was really fun I liked it alot
+This level will make you want to reply it
+Like the whole health bar thing with the ship and rocks coming down the screen

Negatives:
-I got to agree with the others with the controls, it didnt feel to stable to me. I press left and it went left but once I held right it like got stuck on the left but then started working so I dont know what happened there.
-Also I had got my health taken away from one or two rocks that never hit the ship at all but landed to the side of it instead, I dont know if its suppose to be like that or what but its just a (minor probelm).

Overall the level was very good::star::star::star::star: keep up the good work..

Thanks Sabre! I'm actually working on a different kind of control system, but its kind of tough to get one simple, smooth, and accurate so that might be some time.2010-12-23 19:01:00

i'm a big fan of minigames in lbp2! i really enjoyed this one. at the start i couldn't figure out where "the pod" was so that took me awhile lol. other than that, just keep trying to tighten up the controls. i think the green alian things are a little too fast. i never got hit by rocks or UFOs but i got killed by the green things cuz i couldnt hit them lol.

F4F: please play "ginormo burger" or "zombie survival". they are both minigames like this so i bet you'll like them!

Thanks harbingernaut! I'm a huge fan of minigames too Thanks for the feedback!

Also a lot of the problems with the mechanics have been fixed (to the best of my knowledge) so your playing experience should be better now! Also some difficulty issues have been altered (again) and hopefully it is starting to balance between fun, and difficult.

Thanks again for all the comments and feedback!

Pretty well done, I had a grat time playing it, when I started i tought, those aliens are too fast!, but then i realized it was ok... I might recomend you to put some enemy that where harder to beat, apearing at a late time in the lvl, but i think it's pretty cool as it is right now. some thing that I found is that if i press the "X" button the gun does a little flick, but i think that in the minigame is not even necessary to press "X" so it's ok.

P.S.I: I got 1?st in the one player score xD, i liked it that much. ^^

F4F: It' would be nice if you try my level mechabase, i have anotherone but i hadn't published it yet, so tell me what you think about Mechabase ^^

Well I was just destroyed my space things and so was the base. Good level, the starting zone looks good, but for some reason the place you jumpt to below does not zing as well as where you spawn above. I liked the speed of the aim, and the sounds, good use of the life meter. Maybe power ups done by adding an emitter to the laser that shoots a spread blast (once when you get the power-up), this done by having a dissovable that emits a dissolvable to a one shot mag switch to the side that activates the blast, and the blast has a mag key that dissolves the dissolveables. I likes the background, but I wanted more movement and to beable to see higher. Also teh falling rocks may look better with a trail of yellow or white fog from them (maybe not). Liked the build up and speed, but there was not explosions of a base in the background or something when they hit, also a mothership or boss to fight every so often would add to it. All in all very well done level, loved the logic, just wanted more, and not sure if there was thermo to even do that. If you feel like hitting me up with some feedback on one of my levels, would be happy to have some. 2011-01-14 20:53:00

Thanks Celsus! Really great feedback, when I think about those ideas, they all sound phenomenal! I'll have to try adding them, or maybe just remake it in LBP2... 2011-01-14 22:45:00

Yeah knowing LBP2 is almost here it is hard to decide if it is best to wait for updates to levels or not. I just don't think I will have tons of spare time later, so that is why I am trying to do some now even tough LBP2 is right there.2011-01-15 00:28:00
