im usually very calm when it comes to any gaming, ive never broken any of my comtrollers or systems through rage, i got close once but then i thought... giant, think about the consequences, a broken comtroller and 30 bucks lost, or expressing your anger another way? and it was pretty easy2008-11-05 02:33:00

You actually called yourself Giant? LOL Anyway I'm very calm. Well, not calm but I don't break things. I usually go punch my bed/pillows and throw them around the room when I'm REALLY angry.2008-11-05 02:34:00

It takes a lot, and I mean a LOT, to get me to break. About the best you can get is in a FPS where I respawn to instantly die by something in the area which just happens to be close enough to take me out. Repeatedly. (BF: BC is notorious at this.) And even so, the most you'll get is a partially subdued "grr" and perhaps some exasperated gestures.

Because, like others have put example of... Getting mad isn't worth the money and hassle involved.

I used to always get ****** off in a lot of games.. usually at some incredibly difficult boss which took aggggggees to beat. Especially when I've almost reached victory and then I just somehow lose it again. Can't think of any specific games atm though..

Nowadays, if I can't beat something I tend to just leave the game for a while and just try again if I really feel like it. However, this method has lead to MANY unfinished games. lol.

my brother shouts at the screen and my friend smacks about his controllers. I dont anymore but i used to make everyone watching me play leave the room so i could concentrate on beating the particularly hard part that was causing me frustration.2008-11-05 07:59:00

I've never experienced more than gritted teeth and the occasional small scream of frustration. My friend however, once threw his controller at his upright PS2, sending it off the shelf he had it on, and on to the floor when I beat him at Smackdown. Another friend once threw a PS1 controller at the wall, denting the wall (it was plasterboard!)2008-11-05 10:21:00

Generally speaking, I don't get frustrated with games...But it has happened a few times.

There's only two moments where I got some "Gamer Rage"

1-The StarDestroyer part in Star Wars Force Unleashed...It was just ridiculous. Anyone who played the game knows what I'm talking about. I think I spent 2h 30min on that part alone, where it should take 10 min. I didn't go insane, but It got a huge "grr" from me.

2-A few years back, playing Mortal Kombat Deception, I had to finish this tutorial towards the end of the game...It was INSANELY buggy. It's the one with Raiden. I don't know, I just spent 4-5 hours on it, and eventually went crazy, threw my Dualshock 2 on the floor, and..almost broke it.
Again, this was a few years ago <_<

Hard games don't frustrate me at all, it's the buggy games that frustrate me -_-

The most I do if I get frustrated is hit my couch cushion and let off a few choice swear words. Then I stop playing till I cool off. Frustration is my cue to take a break for a bit.

I work way too hard for the money to buy all my games and gaming equipment to break anything I own. That just seems ridiculous to me.

It has taken me a while but I now have enough self control to put the controller down. Turn off the system and walk away.

Believe me with my flash temper that is a remarkable achievement.

I did get through 3 C64 tape decks as I kept breaking them trying to get them to load copied tapes. After waiting 30mins for something to load and have it fail they tended to go against the wall.

I have a cheap as chips fan in my room to keep me cool and it often feels my wraith when a game angers me. It makes a nice sound when punched although it got its own back a few months ago. I punched it a bit to hard and it cracked causing me to scrape my knuckles on the sharp bit. It really bled for quite some time.2008-11-07 16:00:00

I usually tend to get frustrated when games decide to rebel against the code and annoy the breakfast out of me, but i've never broken anything. If it gets frustrating, I usually try something nice and easy, or just go away completely.2008-11-08 23:16:00

The only thing that brings out my rage is when a game is just unfair.

Like when you die or w/e for something that isn't your fault.

For example you die with two lives left, you then respawn with one remaining life, but die instantly, ie. before even moving your character.

That really bugs me. It happens a lot in Halo 3 when playing campaign.

Wipeout HD!
I don't know why I love this game, I need 10 minutes for my first rage, because on difficult the enemies play not fair! They are faster than you, but they don't had a Speed-Up! And also they always attack you!
But I have to say this game is pure awesomeness. Expect you're trying to make everything on difficult/expert/elite (the most difficult mode)

And when I'm angry I hit my pillows, and say dirty words I won't tell you now
