Would anyone happen to know a pretty good HD video camera with an external microphone output? I want to get a video camera and start putting up some cover songs. Oh, and would you mind putting down the model name, price, and if its tripod-mountable, etc. That would help a lot. Thanks!!

i haven't tried the 'direct upload to youtube' button yet, so i can't say how well that works. make sure the Zi8 has installed- Firmware update 1.06 or newer (so it has low-light mode) also, you'll need a second battery, & a SDHC 30MB/ps memory card.
