Hey everybody, I was wondering if anybody knows what the total cost of an HD Capture card + cables and programs for the computer would cost, I'm thinking about getting one.

If it's HD, then no, not 60-70 bucks. That's what you'd pay for a Dazzle or some other low quality capture card. The one I use (A Hauppauge HD PVR) was about 150-200 dollars, and it came with the software and I don't know how much the cables are. If you plan on getting it to the recording business, then saving up for something good is well worth it, rather than getting some cheap one straight of the bat.

Yup thats the one Cog pointed out. It really is awesome and have one myself. The component cables that you will need from the PS3 to it, are another $30 - $40. If you have a mac, you will need to buy additional software as what comes with it is only pc friendly.
