My name is Josh, and quite an avid fan of little big planet. I have the lbp2 beta and have been trying out some concepts, but there is a task I just cannot work out. What I am trying to create is a 2 player 'battle' level where the 2 players climb into these pods which they control their Sackbots from. My problem is this, I cannot make a separate camera for each player to focus on their Individual Sackbots. The closest I've come is wiring a movie camera to a sackbot but then both players are seeing the same thing. If anyone can help I would really appreciate if you could get ahold of me. I've found that having a controlinator set to "Invisible" following the sackbot to take care of this problem the best. That way no camera tricks need to be performed as the camera will focus on your sackboy in the controlinator which is following the sackbot (but completely invisible). Uhhh, that came out funny. I'll do a step-by-step 1. Take a one layer thick piece of hologram material and attach a transmitter controlinator to it (this also allows point bubbles to be collected). 2. Set this controlinator to invisible during playmode. 3. Attach a receiving controlinator to the sackbot as you would normally. 4. On the transmitter's microchip area, place a follow set too 100% acceleration and 100 speed, allow layer changing if you want. 5. On the receiver's microchip, place a tag for the follow to follow. After doing this, the piece of holo will follow the sackbot around and will make it appear as though you're the sackbot (seeing as how you'll be invisible). Don't forget to set the game style to versus. :3 Hope this helps.
