From the beginning of the level it reminded me of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker for some odd reason. Perhaps it was the clouds resting in the blue sky, but in reality there was no resemblance. If anything, it felt rather empty. But then you progress through the level and enter one of the Cursed Mirrors and your plunged into a world of black and white. This was done exceptionally well and offered a unique atmosphere. When you progress further, you enter into a world of surrealism. When entering the final cursed mirror you can only hear the sound of your beating heart as you travel in the new eerie place. Not saying it was boring, just not memorable. At least Saku401 had variety as you had a small moment where you needed to move boxes around so you could leap off them to reach the next room. Other portions included riding a ghastly looking machine and floating down a chasm of some kind, lined with dangerous spikes. Unfortunately, your not quite sure where your going, why your going there or even why it ended. There was no goal that you were pursuing and the concept made me want to know more behind these unusual mirrors. Perhaps with the addition of a story the overall experience would be more 'satisfying' and certainly increase its rating. This level is worth a play as it sits, but more work into this, I could see it being another epic adventure with other levels tied into the Cursed Mirror concept. Wahey! A review! Glad to get some feedback. I'm planning to do something about the story.. I'm not sure if I should have the level as a ''gallery'' -level for my upcoming levels, or make a proper story.
