How do you even make a texture pack? There's a texture file in Minecraft folders that has all the textures in one image! So from there you can just edit the image and change any textures you want, but you may need to save it as a new file, then take it and compress it, where you then put it in the game. To be honest, I hardly know how to do any of it, I had someone help me import it into the game. If you do edit it...standard textures are 256 by 256 but I recommend 512 by 512 as it is a higher resolution.
