Will there be Little Big Planet 2 in the LBP event in ireland?

I live in cork so dublin is pretty far away. I don't want to go all the way there just to learn that they don't have little big planet 2. So does anyone know whether it will or will not have it? I checked the email but they said nothing about it. | 2010-12-18 14:54:00 Author: wev99 Posts: 67 |
I still haven't decided wether to go to the event or not because i have no idea what i would be getting myself into. The e-mail wasn't quite clear enough with what i am supposed to be doing at the event. It tells me there are prizes to be won but it doesn't tell me what those prizes are. To me, the e-mail was basically... "something something, Go all the way to Dublin, something something Create Irish themed level, something something Meet the Media Molecule team, something something something Attend master class session something something etc. etc. etc." And i have no idea if there'll be LittleBigPlanet 2 either. | 2010-12-18 16:23:00 Author: D-E-S_87 Posts: 148 |
I love the Irish stereotyping in the email... PEGI violence warning in the bottom right... | 2010-12-19 21:01:00 Author: croissantbuncake Posts: 572 |
I'd assume at a month away from release they would be showing off 2 as part of the pre launch hype. You could try asking for clarification on their twitter, the beta forum or anywhere else they can be contacted. | 2010-12-19 21:21:00 Author: Rabid-Coot Posts: 6728 |

You can ask Mm all about LBP 2 i suppose! Still though to create an Irish themed level that will be judged by a member of Mm is pretty great no?? | 2010-12-21 02:45:00 Author: Dangerlove Posts: 88 |
What... WAIT!! There is nothing about creating an Irish themed level in the email I received. | 2010-12-22 00:04:00 Author: Darkcloudrepeat Posts: 606 |
What... WAIT!! There is nothing about creating an Irish themed level in the email I received. The top ten Irish entries in Contraption Challenge 12 were asked to create an Irish themed level for the event in Dublin (which I'm guessing is a type of LBP 2 launch event seeing as LBP 2 is now out on the 21st in Ireland) which will be judged by a member of Mm or something And i have no idea if there'll be LittleBigPlanet 2 either. If Media Molecule are there AND its the same day as LBP 2 is released in Ireland there hardly not going to have LBP 2 there like! The would be ridiculous.... | 2010-12-22 01:38:00 Author: Dangerlove Posts: 88 |
It would be a bit mad if there was no LBP2 but maybe they will be sick of promoting LBP2 by then? Darkcloud the thing your thinking of is the following morning. | 2010-12-22 02:00:00 Author: OneEyedBanshee Posts: 1370 |
I'm going, even though I'm in kerry. Dublin's not that far, only 5-6 hours. Hopefully the terrible ice will be gone by the 20th at the latest and we can all get there safely. Also, what session are you all going to? We could all meet at the same session | 2010-12-25 15:06:00 Author: Symin Posts: 133 |
Just to clarify, only the Irish people who entered CC12 and got a mail about it will be asked to build an Irish themed level. During the session the guys from MM and I will be there to help out with all the tools and help pimp your levels out. Some rare goodies will be available as prizes on the day also.... should be good craic guys! | 2010-12-29 18:08:00 Author: wexfordian Posts: 1904 |
